It is an incredibly popular holiday destination for tourists, because of the marvelous weather and beaches. Costa Blanca is family friendly, thanks to the huge range of activities available there from beaches and golf to museums and parks. There are the beaches, such as Los Náufragos in Torrevieja with its volleyball nets, golden sands and Blue Flag status, or smaller beaches like Serragrosa with its crystal waters, ideal for swimmers. But there are also golf courses (particularly the Villaitana club de golf near Benidorm) and watersports facilities and cultural sites like museums and galleries, such as the La Asegurada Municipal Museum in Alicante which has extensive collections of Spanish art. You will need a couple of weeks on the Costa Blanca just to scratch the surface of its entertainment potential.

Katana is a very small outlet with 9 Bar chairs which is located within the Central Market in Alicante. Run by three young people, they produce excellent Sushi, Tuna Tataki, a very creative beef tartare, Vietnamese dishes, and other. Three people with a bottle of Ribeiro â¬109.00 plus tip. Very nice. Iâm not usually too fussed on Indian food but Iâd travel back just to come back here. Great food, good service and very reasonably priced. I came last year and it was brilliant, popped back in and was happy to see it wasnât just a one off. First visit but definitely not the last. Food was superb and service was friendly and prompt and when we couldn't finish our food they packed it to take with us. I had madras which was thick spicy and fruity and peshwari naan which was superb. I'm a regular to villajoyosa so will be back at this restaurant soon

This is without doubt one of the best meal you can get in Orihuela Costa. The atmosfare in this restaurant is charming. But the service is very unprofessional. After waitng with my empty plate front of me without getting any tention from the waiters, even they non stop passed my table, finally one of them grap my plate without giving me even a glimt, and left. I had to wait another 10 min. to get a tention and ask for my desert of the three course menu I ordered. When I complained, the waiter became very rude. Unplesant experience, I have to say and not you expect from such a good restaurant.Hi there Thanks for your review. Apologies but on the day you lodged a complaint saying that you had been waiting 45mins to order dessert.... surprised to see you now say 10 but anyhow.... You didnât just complain, you grabbed Vikas and tried to wrestle away a stack of menus he was holding in his hands. Thatâs when he became rude . Sorry itâs not ok to physically grab staff. If we have given bad customer service we will apologize, but on this occasion I am not going to because you were completely out of order, and I think itâs fair to say that alcohol has impaired your recollection of this incident. It is not often we threaten to call the police, but this was one of those times, and the lovely guests beside you even offered to pay your bill , so you would go away with your ranting and raving.However must say, thank you for your fair review of the food. We are glad you enjoyed it, and you are welcome back to our restaurant ( as long you donât attempt to grab any member of staff next time )

Poppadoms were really thin and disintegrated when the pickle was added, but tasty all the same. Onion bhaji and lamb tikka was nice and the mains were hotter than we expected, but the staff quickly brought some yoghurt. Overall, good value for money, but just felt a bit rushed from arriving to our main meal being served. It wasn't that busy either.

I visited Nepali last night to celebrate my birthday and I wasn't disappointed. Although I live in Benidorm the majority of my friends that live here were out of town, so I dined alone. Service,as always was very efficient and extremely friendly. The food was simply delicious, I started with Chikken Tikka which was both moist and succulent, followed by Kashmiri Lamb with Pilau Rice and Garlic Naan which was delicioius. How they can offer food like this for 15.95 Euros for three courses is just beyond me.

Got to be five star for trying something a little different in Indian/Thai/Asian food, and for the sheer quality of the food served. All dishes had lovely flavours and were beautifully presented. The complimentary vegetable bajhi was worth the five stars alone! Lovely friendly staff too.

We visited Alicante late August 2019. This was our second time to this amazing city. Before we arrived, we read some impressive reviews about The indian House. We were eager to visit this restaurant to sample the extensive menu. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly. I asked for a prawn biryani which wasnt actually on the menu. This was no problem at all. A tasty, fresh dish was served and thoroughly enjoyed. I can honestly say the best prawn biryani I have ever tasted. Naturally, we visited the restaurant twice! The service was person centred and efficient. We did find the cost of the food very reasonable as well as the drinks. We did order a bottle of wine with our meal. The restaurant was also easy to find being on the main street. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and naturally will be returning ourselves.

For us, coming back and back has several reasons: the food is super delicious, Johnny is a sincere personality, its quiet inside and the music is to our liking. For me in particular, the chai is awesomely good and the food throws me right back to India. I simply LOVE IT! I wish we came earlier during our stay in Calp.
