If you don't want to go to trouble of grilling, smoking, and putting together a barbecue meal yourself, then there's a place you need to go, or call in a take out order......Pruett's on Rainbow Drive in Gadsden, AL. You can get directions, hours of operation, phone numbers, etc by entering the name in Trip Advisor. We recently had a family gathering and fed them with pulled pork, baked beans (outstanding), cole slaw, buns, lemon ice box pie and chocolate pie, and tea, from Pruetts. Everyone loved all the food. A lot easier than spending time grilling or smoking yourself, and the food is like you did it yourself........or better!Call ahead with your order, and if for a large crowd, give them a day or so advance notice. You will not regret your purchase!

Reluctantly stayed despite the thick smog of cigarette smoke. After sitting down no one came to our table for about 15 mins. Once the nasty looking waitress showed up, I think she was actually a manager, she was rude and very short with my husband and I. During the wait we had the pleasure of watching the cook cross contaminate every surface and piece of bread while handling raw beef and poultry. So after being there for an additional 30 mins with no coffee refill we had a sudden loss of appetite. Will never be back.

This is the cleanest buffet I've ever seen. We went at lunch time. All the food was very HOT! The dessert was very good there is a variety selection. I found my favorite restaurant. My personal downfall is they don't have a restaurant in Pensacola Florida. We are here to visit a friend. But I am diffently returning today (:

My friend and I decided to get a quick bite here since it was close to our hotel. We ordered the catfish dinner, and being from the south we figured this would be a great choice. WRONG! It was worse than processed fish sticks. Needless to say we wonât be back.

I think we would qualify as regulars, often eating there twice a month. The fish is always fresh and the chef is always creative with his preparation. Today I may have had the best piece of ahi tuna in my life, done perfectly. My wife had a grilled grouper on cheese grits and was very pleased. The oysters are amazing.

I only get the smoked turkey, but its so good I don't see any reason to get anything else. The baked beans are really good. The staff is very nice. This is the best barbecue in Etowah CountyThank you so much!!! I needed to be back in Alabama and specifically Gadsden this weekend so as always no visit is complete without stopping at Pruett's. I had a wonderful meal Friday night in a very crowded restaurant and another meal for lunch on Saturday and once again it was crowded. See a pattern??? Crowded. Do I mind? Not at all. I would wait however long it takes to get the quality of food I get here. The thing is even with a crowd I never have to wait for an extreme amount of time. They know how to manage and have the ability of making things run smooth. The other thing in addition to outstanding food is the outstanding service. Yes even in a crazy busy restaurant the service is still superior. Not just from my server but I observe and I see it from all servers. Thank you Pruett's for having such a wonderful place and for making your customers feel so appreciated and loved. I spread the good news about your restaurant everywhere I travel.

You'll come for the barbeque and the great atmosphere along the river, but the beans on the greens are very tasty oh, and there's an excellent selection of ales and beers and drinks in the shop. Friendly staff, good prices, excellent atmosphere. Unexpected pleasure
