The log cabin lodge is located off Highway 12 about 45 miles west of Lolo, Montana. It’s open year round, and has a beer and wine license. We’ve been here several times, and the restaurant never disappoints. They have both complete dinners (salmon, ribeye, etc.) as well as a good selection of sandwiches and hamburgers. Dessert is excellent.

Lolo Peak has a wide selection of beers, but also sells wine and non alcoholic drinks. Food is more than standard bar food with selections such as chicken pot pie, curry, and tacos. Place can be noisy, but there’s an outside patio and an upstairs if you want to escape to somewhere quieter. Service is prompt and friendly even on busy nights.

Again people, this is Lolo... don't expect 5 star service in the middle of nowhere! The bar keep is typically the waitress and the bartender and has the whole room to themselves. And has to run the food to you... be patient. The drinks were descent and the food was good. If you don't get waited on every 5 minutes - go ask for what you need and they will get it.

Jakers was recommended by the desk clerk in brooks motor inn.We arrived without reservations so we’re seated at the bar. We were served drinks straight away and then seated in the restaurant within half an hour. Our server heather was attentive efficient and gave great info on the choices. I would recommend the avocado/crab salad starter. Really tasty and a meal in its self.My main was the cedar plank salmon, and omg, I have NEVER eaten salmon that good, never. In all our travels around the world, this was the best meal I have ever eaten. Served with rice (my choice) it was the star of the show.Final dish was a crime brûlée, which was huge, rich and creamy, yummy. We live in the UK so unlikely to return to Missoula for some time, but we are going to great falls on this trip so will try jakers there too. Joanne,Thank you so much for your recent visit to Jakers and I'm so pleased you enjoyed yourself! We certainly pride ourselves on quality food and exceptional restaurant service and I'm glad to hear that we achieved that with you! I know it may be a while, but we look forward to having you for dinner again soon!Best,Josh ChavezGeneral ManagerJakers Bar and Grill-Missoula
