Too tired to switch rooms just wearing shoes in the room. Besides that most seems clean but you wonder at this point what might have been missed

Avoid at all cost
Reviewed By April HAvoid this place at all costs. We checked into are room at about 7 pm and the room was not clean. I went and ask for a new room and they did have anymore. I told them my room was not clean and was notified that someone would be down to clean it. At 8 pm no one had shown up to clean yet. Back to front desk. I'm told be assured someone is on the way to clean. They had 2 guests complain at same time. 9 pm still no one to clean room. Someone shows up at about 9:15 pm. The guys is from maintenance and off the clock, but is going to clean the room. He strips the beds and cleans the bathroom, leaving cleaning products in front of bathroom door. He leaves to get sheets and never returns. 10 pm I tell them room is not clean and I'm checking out and want my money back. Im told we will get it finished. I tell them give me sheets and I will make the beds myself. I'm exhausted by now and want to go to bed. Worst place I have ever stayed.

Reviewed By dustythoughtsI stayed here for one night while in town for work, and colleagues recommended staying here. I was super impressed with the overall quality of stay here! The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, and really made my stay more comfortable. The rooms were generously-sized, and my bed was super comfortable! The breakfast was pretty good (and free!), although they had run out of turkey sausages by 7:00 AM. The hotel comes with other amenities, like a pool and a fitness center, although I unfortunately didn't have time to use them. Parking was free.

Very average property
Reviewed By NMM52I stayed at this property a few years ago and it was above average considering the cost. .......not so much now. Things have gone downhill since I was last here. It is a good value if you don't need a good wifi connection or a decent breakfast. Since Covid hit many hotels have used it as an excuse to cut back breakfast offerings and other services. I had to use my cell phone hotspot to participate in an online meeting. The download speed at this property was under 5 MBPS. That's pathetic in this day and age. The rooms are clean and bed was fairly comfortable. So it depends on one's needs. I won't be staying here again.

Nice manager but that’s about it!
Reviewed By DennyL62Bed was firm but much improvement needed. First, we arrived about 7:00pm. At 7:00pm the desk was closed and you had to ring for someone to come to the desk. I had made to reservation earlier on Hopper and got my confirmation. The manager was kind but would not check me in because he had not received the funds from Hopper. He tried called and could not get anyone and then tells me to call them even though he has my reservation number and I have the reservation number and confirmation #. I had to use my credit card to get a room. I tried and could not get anyone to respond to my text until after about 10 minutes. Finally, checked in with another credit card. Got to a supposedly non-smoking room which smelled like smoke. Went back to the front desk and the manager moved us to another room. The room did not smell clean and fresh but it did not smell like smoke. Went to dinner and came back and tried to turn on the lamp by the bed. The turn on switch knob was missing. Tried to phone thr front desk but the phone didn’t work! Went back and rang to bell again. Tell the manager the problem and he hands me a knob. I go back and try to put the knob on. It will not screw on so I proceed to take the lamp apart and try again. The knob would not fit. Went back to the office again and rang the bell again! Finally, the manager decided he would come to the room to put the knob on. He came, the knob did not fit. He went next door, got a lamp and removed the one that did not work. Then it was time to check out the room. First, the bedspread had something on it which I will not mention on her what it looked like. The carpet was not too back, I have seen worse, however, around the edges of the wall it was thick with dirt and grime. The toilet seat was broken and taped with a clear tape. Everything is very dated and worn. The heating unit was under the window so when the fan started blowing to blew underneath the curtain, I guess warning the window because it did not warmed the room very well. There was no coffee in the room and no coffee in the lobby. The breakfast was closed. The lesson learned was NOT to trust reviews on Hopper as it has several and all were five stars. I would not give it one star but I will because the manager was kind. I’d definitely not chose this hotel again.

We are located in the Historic District, within walking distance of local attractions, including the newly restored Old Governor's Mansion in use during the Civil War, Memory Hill Cemetery, the Old State Capital building. We are just a short trolley ride from Andalusia, Flannery O'Connor's farm. We are also only one block from Georgia College.
old but so clean
Reviewed By Z6811GTleotThis motel looks dated on the outside, but the rooms have been remodeled. Full laminate, no carpet, comfortable mattress and everything was oh so clean. I would have given this motel 4 but the breakfast was quite the joke, no juice, coffee only and only cold muffins or cereal so only a 3 rating.
