Royal Oak finally has a much needed Ramen spot. Soft pre-opening today for the art of fire show. They were able to open in less than the years itâs taking for the one on Main. Thereâs a podium at the front with menus. We took the menu to the table of your choice, order at the counter. A pager is given once the order is placed. This is their first day of opening today. Itâs warm outside but the rich broth flavors will have the best tantalize your nose once you step foot in this noodle oasis. The interior has a modern eclectic vibe, the loungy laid back music humming in the background. Takes a bit of time for your rich brothy goodness to come out. Need a bit of patience since itâs their first day today. The ramen soup is well worth the wait. The staff behind the counter is friendly and good about explaining the different soups and whatâs available on their first day.The tonkatsu broth is very rich and flavorful, tons of depth to it and itâs thick. The gf noodles look great for gf and look exactly like ramen to me. The miso Paitan broth is delicious. I love that we can claim such a notable place to our downtown now. There are some handy dandy wipes for before or after your meals. Come and try out Royal Oakâs first premier ramen shop. You can tell the broth is made and rooted from a deep rich Japanese recipe. The flavors of their ramen soup broths bring back wonderful memories of the best ramen shops I ventured into while in Tokyo and Kyoto.

Edo has some great Filipino dishes along with traditional ramen, suahi, boba drinka, appetizers (dumplings, spring rolls etc...) And some delicious looking desserts. They have a lot of daily specials on the board too. You can sit also sit at the bar. Service is terrific and all staff were very friendly.

Pseudo Thai, and if you ask for peanuts be sure to ask for more than a baby spoon full. Small means just that. As the old joke goes so so food and such small portions. Once a long time ago had passable value. A friend goes there as they always forget something about the order and they offer him a coupon for a free bowl of noodles or soup on his next visit, Not funny, One good thing is they do participate in charitable fund raising,

Stir-fry restaurant where you can create-your-own bowl from a selection of over 80 fresh ingredients.
My friend had been to this Royal Oak before which is really the only reason I tried it. Frankly, I have never been attracted to the inauthentic franchise atmosphere, waitstaff or outer venue. I was hopeful that the food would be good though.I wasn't crowded at all when we arrived, so we were immediately seated on this very early weekday evening. That said, our table was sticky from someone who previously had eaten there. The waitress was kind, but rushed. We later learned that she was nearing the end of her shift and just wanted to cash out (tip and all).I ordered a Margarita cocktail based on her suggestions. We was pretty watered down. When we decided to take our bowls to prepare our food, I noticed a thin trail of sitting on the floor near the protein bar. Associates continued to work near it, over it and around it. No one addressed it with a mop for the better part of an hour!My companion & I got similar dishes. She is vegetarian, I am not. When I received by entree back he had apparently mixed up the two dishes he was making while he posed for the camera. Unfortunately, she didn't notice because after they were grilled with the spices, both bowls looked alike until she got into a piece of my chicken. All in all, the experience there was such that I will not return. The food, prepared to recipe was way too salty for my palate. The salad greens were picked over run-of-the-mill romaine and one of the soup offerings was some kind of mystery dish because it was without a label. The best I can say about bd's Mongolian in RO is that the food during happy hour was cheap. There are inexpensive restaurants out there whose employees care about the food and the upkeep, but this place is not one of them.

I've tried this place only once so maybe I'll give another chance and I'll change my idea but the only two positive things that I've found was the waiter Joy - very polite- and the cheesecake -very very tasty! The waitress at the entry was very unkind and sourpuss, the location needs to be renovated: Belle Ãpoque lamps or similar, IKEA chandelier and wood benches all together... what's the possible reason? I really believe that when you go out for a dinner, you don't go only for eating but also for an experience! Food was average, not so good and not so bad.

I have been going here for more than a decade because of the consistent food quality. They make excellent sushi and do it relatively quickly at a reasonable price. The new space so far is disappointing though. The flow between ordering, paying, sitting, getting served.....it is a mess. They need to completely rethink the process and make better signs. Looks like they tried to build out the interior "on the cheap" instead of making it comfortable and inviting.Next time I will order to go or just grab pre-made sushi.

When two of my friends suggested we meet at Ronin for Happy Hour, I had no idea what to expect. I think I just found one of my favorite sushi places! The staff was amazing and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. We had a wine and some great food, My friends love the ribs and I had a California roll, spicy tuna tacos and edemami! I think I am going to become a regular here! Love this place!
