I canât imagine eating on Saturday evening in Downtown South Haven, Michigan. However, we were smart enough to start early and got a 5:15 p.m. reservation for four. Nikki was our server and regardless of the âcrushâ for dinner, we had a most delightful meal. There was a perfect BLT, seafood ravioli, Mariaâs salad and a linguini dinner substituted with spaghetti . All were PERFECT. A really Fun evening.

I had a hard time finding anything I might like so ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were hard fried then added to the dish (they were laced with bread). That is a mortal sin, the bread soaks up the fat and the fat goes to my waistline. No need to do that, if they are worried about them falling apart they could put in an egg and it would hold everything together. Probably about the worse caesar salad I've had. Chopped romain, sprinkles of parmesan and croutons and anchovies. If it weren't for the anchovies it would have been a total loose. Pretty flavorless dressing. I think the dressing was canned or bottled.Seats and booths very uncomfortable. I had no back support on the bench booth and switched with my husband for his wooden chair (not ergonomical). From the frying pan to the fire. Very long wait for food, waiter was busy they really need more help. I think he was waiting on all the tables himself with the help of a girl with a water pitcher. Would I go back? No.

tight seating. limited space. in need of updating. but if you can look past all of that, man this is a hidden gem! we were in search of a restaurant w/out a long wait on a friday night. so glad we gave this place a shot. the food was outstanding and the wait staff ran their buns off. super super reasonably priced too!

Monday night. Restaurant not busy. Order our pizza. After 45 mins bar tender tells us wait is an hour. Does offer us a free drink. Much later other peopleâs pizza comes out that ordered after us. First pizza weâve seen from kitchen in an hour. My husband has had enough and walks out. I stay to pay for drinks. Bartender tells us pizzas are coming out of oven and being packaged. Get them to go. Not good. I ordered margarita pizza with tomatoes, mozzarella, spinach and basil. The height of tomato season and it is covered in horrible canned tomatoes. No basil to be seen. Crust is soggy and undercooked. After an hour and a half. Will not be back. Waste of precious vacation time
