Although this is a small diner, they tend to get very busy. But the service is still very good! The waitresses always make sure you have what you need in a timely fashion. And the food is super good as well!

My husband and I stumbled upon this restaurant as our other choices were full. We were seated immediately. We enjoyed the setting and found the place reminded us of South Carolina. The menu was perfect. Service was great. The French fries had some kind of flavoring that made them super tasty. My husbands beer was super cold which meant a lot to him. I wasn’t sure which wine I wanted and was offered a sample to help me decide. We loved this place and will return in the future!

Three Blondes Brewery

We travel to South Haven every summer, and we discovered this spot last year a few months after they opened. And, boy, am I so glad we did. We have two young kids so we wanted a spot that was tasty, had great beer and was all around family friendly. And Three Blondes is all of that and more. We love it so much that we went back twice during our weekend trip this year! The Tacos are a must! Its one of my favorite foods, so I like to try tacos wherever I can. These were definitely in my top favorites! I would also highly recommend the Crab Rangoon pizza! It seriously tastes just like your eating an actual Crab Rangoon (if not better). Also, do yourself a favor and order the Sips and Dip (flights and pretzels with their blueberry mustard). I wasn't sure about the mustard at first (its purple), but it was awesome. I wish they sold some that we could have taken home! All in all, the food, beer, atmosphere is outstanding and we can't wait to make it our first stop when we head to Michigan again next summer!

Stopped in for a late lunch. Got a table next to the water and enjoyed watching boats go up and gown the river out to Lake Michigan. Service was good. There was a variety of offerings. I had the shrimp cocktail and hubby had the burger. Both were very good.

Played golf and friends said the restaurant was good so we gave it a shot. Our server was Logan, very cute and fun gal that did a great job. Started with a bottle of jigsaw Pinot Noir. Wife had the salmon which came with fresh asparagus and she subbed little redskins. Was excellent!! I had the airline chicken bowl. The chicken was way over cooked and tough and the beans were not done. I still gave it a 4 but if it was my meal only I would give it a 2. My wife’s was so good I would have given it a 5. I should have sent mine back but I didn’t. We will probably give it another try when we both want good salmon. Thanks for taking the time to stop by and leave a review, I really wished you would have said something to the manager about the chicken. We are in the process of training new staff and would have gladly taken care of that for you. We do hope you come back and give us another try.

Our party of 6 recently tried Lou’s because we heard the fried perch was very good. Indeed, it was excellent! The place was small and quaint, though the water view was very nice. We felt the food was overpriced, despite being very tasty. Overall, worth the trip if you like fried fish.

The ambiance is incredible in this 1880s bank building, it is absolutely beautiful. Actually it is a couple of buildings connected together by opening a wall. The food was excellent, I had the salmon with a French onion soup (no upcharge) and my wife had shrimp with pasta . Everything was excellent. We topped it off with an apple dumpling that was a bit underwhelming. The service was excellent and we had no wait whatsoever. Perhaps coming in mid afternoon in October lets you avoid any wait.BTW, the WiFi service was super fast.

I wasn’t wowed by the ambience, service or food. Our server was friendly but trying to wait too many tables to give personal “I care that you are here” type of service. We tried a beet salad and a pear salad. Both had limp lettuce which hadn’t spent much time in the cooler. Not a good start. Tuna tartare was nicely presented but lacked definition. My companion enjoyed sushi and it looked liked many other diners were as well. The Mushroom Pate had flavor but was visually unappealing and was served with an over abundance of very crusty bread. A fruit cobbler for dessert tasted liked Mom made it and was the best part of the meal.Definitely would not return in the busy season.
