Fantastic room and service
Reviewed By RoburettoWe arrived at the hotel and did our check-in using the machine. It was a safe and fast process. The room was fresh as it had the air con on, something we appreciated after 3+ hours of driving at more than 30 outside temperature. The bed was comfortable, wifi worked ok and the TV had Netflix installed on it. Not that we used it, but I thought it was cool. Breakfast was included and it consisted of toasts with butter and jam, OJ, a piece of cake, and a delicious egg, served with coffee. Medinaceli is a really beautiful town and the Bavieca hotel is a perfect place to explore the city. You can park just outside the hotel at no extra charge.

Reviewed By pmoncaleanEl pasado fin de semana disfrute de un regalo maravilloso: una estancia de dos dias en El Cuartel. Es un lugar mágico cuyas paredes albergan cientos de historias y en sus estanterías descansan obras que relatan la maravillosa vida del abuelo Don Manuel. Se respira una atmósfera de sosiego y paz, difícilmente alcanzable para los que somos puro nervio. Las habitaciones cuidadosamente decoradas y con todas las comodidades que aportan al viajero un relax máximo. Desayuno cuidado, tocando todos los palos de aquellos que son épicos. Jardines, salones, rincones….una casa para perderse!!! La casa además nos ofrece un servicio cuidado, amable, educado sin descuidar la simpatía que siempre hace más cómodos los comienzos. Además, siempre pendiente de las necesidades y demandas del cliente. Gracias, habéis puesto a este regalo, la guinda!!!

Reviewed By fernacaI will review the food, honest for the price and good quality. Taste the "trucha en escabeche" and the cakes are made on the premises, very good yogurt cake. Decor is outdated but clean and impeccable.

Excellent and reasonable
Reviewed By pantodame1This hostal is in the settlement below the ancient village of Medinaceli but just a short car ride away. It is clean, quiet and very reasonable - 50€ per night for a couple and 35€ for a single. Dogs go free. There is a good restaurant across the road and to the left for breakfast. But for best restaurants visit the old village.
