Frostburg is a city in Allegany County, Maryland, United States, and is at the head of the Georges Creek Valley. It is part of the Cumberland, MD-WV Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 9,002 at the 2010 census. Located 8 miles (13 km) west of Cumberland, the town is one of the first cities on the "National Road", US 40, and the western terminus of the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad. Since 1973, the city has been served by what is now Interstate 68.

We had just left Chicago two days earlier and were more than surprised at the affordable drink prices at the bar. Very friendly locals who seemed to come most nights and also didnât mind talking with the tourists! Transitioned to a table for dinner. Better than average food, not spectacular if youâre from a big city, but priced well. I would go back if I were in town and would guess this is the place to beat.

If you want some of the freshest and tastiest food in Frostburg, CJ's Red Giant restaurant in Dante's is the place to go. Tapas Tuesday is the best, but the selections on any given night are terrific. Martini Monday is a good day too.How's the bar service you ask? The beer selections on tap are usually very good.

Stumbled on to this gem by accident. Thank goodness we did.I am not exaggerating when I say this is the best pizza Iâve ever had! They have the most amazing combination of their own crust, their own sauce and cheese.Appetizers donât disappoint either. Crab dip, buffalo chicken dip, pepperoni sticks, fresh cut fries, all amazing. Never had a bad meal yet. Friendly staff. Nice setting. You wonât be disappointed.

There were only a handful of people and yet the service was abysmal. The draft beer was flat and the food was mundane. We ordered 2 appetizers which came within a reasonable amount of time. Ordered a 3rd appetizer and when we inquired,after having to flag down the server (did I mention we were seated at the bar and there were only 5 other people) he said it would be right out. He then went over and placed the order and the food did not come for another 30 minutes. Seriously bad service folks.
