We went there for a late lunch. We arrived at 115. We understood the Carey street crawl was Friday night but we were warned to move our car by 3pm. From the get go we were rushed through the process. We were looking for a casual ladies Friday lunch but not what we experienced. They were distracted and rushed us the entire time. Other time slow as molasses now rushed. The Carey st Crawl was the priority. If thatâs the case then just SHUT DOWN FOR THF AFTERNOON. Also reminded again to move car. We arenât children. We heard u the first time. As I said above Cote needs to figure out what they want to Be? A restaurant or a bar/club? They have good food and a NOLA feel but their restaurant execution is Terrible. I would doubt most of the 5 star reviews above. Think those are family and friends or isolated to the maple room side of the business. If anyone has experienced a Nola type lunch could never give them 5 stars legitimately. I want them to succeed but need to fine tune it.

If you are looking for a New Orleans style roast beef po-boy, try out Jazzy Pete's! It's the real deal! Reminds me of when my Dad would stop and get "sloppy roast beef po-boys", with lots of napkins! The meat is NOT thin deli sliced. It's shredded and soaked in a delicious hot gravy on real French bread!I got mine dressed, but may ask them to omit the pickles next time.

Sept 17, 2018 at about 9:30am...Stopped in for breakfast on this Wednesday morning. After entering this small, homey cafe, we were seated at one of the 10+ tables in the main room (2 or 3 tables in the other room). Our server, who was neatly attired and friendly, supplied menus and took our beverage orders, coffee. In short order, the coffee arrived and we placed our food orders. My Honey ordered a Flambeau Omelette with Hot Mess Hash Browns & I had a Waffle with a side of Sausage Patties. Our food arrived in a very reasonable amount of time, it was attractively plated, and hot. My Honey said the Flambeau Omelette was great and the Hot Mess Hash Browns (nice sized portion) was way over the top delicious. My Waffle & Sausage was prepared perfectly and was just what I had hoped for. I have to say, this place is truly a "10", from the cozy, homey dining area, to the great food, courteous & attentive staff, and on to the great coffee! Yep, it's a shame Terry Lynn's is only open during the week, but this is a family operation & good things come in small packages. We will go out of our way to come back for more & more of these culinary delights...

Our food was good - I recommend the crab stuffed mushrooms! However, the area we were seated in was very loud and on top of it there was a toddler at the next table whose inconsiderate parents allowed her to scream at the top of her lungs. Not crying, just screaming. Another table complained to our waitress who did nothing. Would not go backHappy to hear that the Crab Stuffed Mushrooms were a tasty choice, and I really appreciate that recommendation. If you feel there was anything more we could have done to better accommodate your needs this time, though, I'd like to apologize about that. We had the good fortune to secure a table for Sunday brunch at Palmettos. This is an experience that we look forward to repeating for many years to come.First, service from Dee was outstanding. She offered us tips on what to be sure to experience on the buffet, and they were spot on.Second, the food combinations and pairings on the buffet were ideal. As one of many, smoked Gouda cheese grits paired with tender beef tips au jus. This will be in my memory forever as a favorite combination.Third, the atmosphere, landscape, and vibe conspired to win us over quickly.We did not order any, but the eggs Benedict looked fabulous. I am saving that for my next visit!Well thank you so much for this kind review. We are locals and kept seeing positive reviews so we gave it a try. My wife is not a fan of spices so we always avoided trying this place. Since they passed us a sampler tray my wife was more comfortable with ordering and requesting not spicey. Our food was very tasty and meet our request. Very nice staff that was friendly and extremely efficient understanding our needs before we requested. We would recommended this place for a casual and enjoyable meal whether you like spicey or mild.

They have great appetizers, with the chicken spring rolls a great choice. The eggplant and shrimp pasta is to die for. The veal cutlets over pasta is extremely good, and for $1 more, you can add another piece of veal. My favor is the Filet...comes out on sizzling platter!

Food is fair at best, beware of the price, what is advertised is not what they charge. Every time you go, there are new waitresses. Don't seem to know what to do,not well trained. What's wrong with this place that they can't keep staff? Not worth the effort to go to Pearl River. Much better restaurants in Slidell.
