Lisbon is a dreamy destination for any traveler. The Portuguese capital's cultural and artistic diversity, its exhilarating and varied nightlife, the breathtaking viewpoints and its proximity to some of the most spectacular beaches and coastlines make it a top destination in the world. Lisbon offers VIP treatment for a fraction of the cost of most other major European cities. A secular city with plenty of history and traditions to offer, Lisbon also has a great variety of restaurants, bars, cafes, parks and vistas to relax and enjoy the city like a true local.

Gaspar House is in a building from 1951, has high ceilings and the most beautiful Paquet in the world. ;-) It's located in the heart of Lisbon, 4 subway stations away from the touristic center. Subway Station "Areeiro" is right in front of the door. The Airport is only 5 minutes away by taxi or bus. By subway are about 15 min. The train to Sintra is just around the corner. The train to Belem, Estoril and Cascais is at the end of our subway line. Lisbon Guest House neighborhood is very well considered in the City. It is elegant and friendly. A certain touch „bourgeois“. I'd like my guests to get to know Lisbon as if they would be living here. Don't hesitate to ask if you'd like to know where to go, what to see, to eat or drink. For it's a 5 room flat, we ask for some attention and quiteness to not disturbe.
Spent 3 fantastic nights at Gaspar's house. Beautiful apartment, spotlessly clean, our bedroom was huge with it's own private bathroom. The host Gasper is a lovely person, so kind ,helpful and very knowledgeable about Lisbon and the surrounding areas. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful! All fresh and organic food. Great location, 1 minute walk to the metro to take you into Lisbon centre. Gaspar's house is highly recommended when visiting Lisbon.

Location and rooms are great, but there is NO elevator and we had to carry our bags up 84 stairs to get to our room. That means every time you go in and out, you are climbing 84 stairs! Needless to say, although I liked the accommodations, I would never stay here again.

The hostel is run by Carlos & Sandra. At a good price they offered us a trannsfer from the airport. The breakfasts were very tasty, we felt at home and not like in the hostel (real ham, chouriço, cheese, cottage cheese, jam). Probably one of the best breakfasts I've ever had at a hostel. Close to the metro and to the Pingo Doce market. Hostel also has disadvantages. The apartment is on very low ground floor. From our room window facing the corridor, so was the problem with the room airing. I felt that the room is damp. The locks on the door were very noisy. I think closing doors we awoke our neighbors The room was very cheap. For one night I could go there, but I wouldn't have stayed there longer.

In the Historic Center and next to the nightlife area of Cais do Sodre , we are 100 meters from the Bairro Alto and five minute walk from the Chiado. Our Bed and Breakfast is in a classified area and has been restored by the rules of art. Our rooms are comfortables, cozy , well decorated with a contemporary design, and also have views over the Tagus. They are prepared to receive families.
Very responsive, friendly and helpful- great location. Spacious room. Private bathroom located outside. Bring your own Toiletries as not much is provided. Note that there is an added tourist tax which is not mentioned. Thank you Caterina for your assistance.

Be very careful booking this place. This is a room in a private apartment where this elderly lady lives and falsely describes it as an Inn. There is nothing wrong with renting a room in your apartment but it’s misleading and deceptive when you describe it as an Inn which is a small hotel. Room very musty and only 15 meters ( 150 soft) . Some of the pictures are from the hallway and not the room. It was a terrible experience and waste of $200 per night. We left as soon as we could.

Thank you for your help when we parked in the wrong place. Without you, we would have wasted our only day in Lisbon. This guesthouse is very convenient to the airport literally 7 min away. We used the transport with the help of the guesthouse, 10 eu. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean with a balcony to get fresh air. ? And dont park in the wrong spot! ???I did see parking in the back of the building that you pay for.

I stayed here four nights in August of 2019, mostly because of the price. There is good and bad. I will start with the good: Price: I paid 45 euros per night Wifi: Worked well. Kitchen: Lots of cookware, dishes, and functional appliances. Lots of storage space. It's easy to prepare and eat all your meals here if you want. Cleanliness: Mostly clean. Someone comes every day to clean common areas and rooms where there is a new guest. Location: Nice neighborhood, close to a lot of things to see. On the other hand: Security: There is no staff onsite other than the cleaning staff who come in from about 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. each day. You pay online and they email you door codes. The codes don't change from one customer to the next. Telephone: Didn't work at all. This was disappointing because my phone from the USA does not work in Europe. Maintenance: Minor day-to-day maintenance doesn't seem to get done, so you will notice little things like shelves coming loose from walls and shower door not closing properly. The remodel seems to have been done as cheaply as possible, so linoleum floor is bumpy without a proper subfloor.

The place is dirty, lot of mold in bathrooms (photos), windows are just to the tram railroad track so it’s very very loud from very early hours to late night. Rooms are smaller than it looks in photos. No living room - you have to eat in your room.
