Free breakfast an a lot to choose for , staff are friendly and attentive to our needs We stayed at 206 room second floor only in-front of the main road which you could here the outside traffic Location of the hotel is nice walking distance from an outlet store with a lot of restaurants available

A few days prior to checking-in, the reservations team called us first to confirm booking and accommodated all our questions, especially regarding travel requirements. On day of check-in, our flight was rescheduled earlier. Despite this, the reception checked us in earlier, and while waiting for our room, we were allowed to use the resort's amenities. Our rooms were clean. The villa we stayed was very spacious, perfect for my family of 4. The whole resort was large enough that it didn't feel crowded even if there were a lot of guests. The amenities are perfect for all family members whether young or old. The seniors who were with me was able to enjoy the pool since it was heated. Food in all restaurant outlets were delicious and reasonably priced for a hotel food. All the staff were courteous and welcoming. Service was quick. One of the best resorts I've stayed in.

Reviewed By cebuanawandererIt was the aftermath of Odette so we expect less. Nothing much when we stayed here on our anniversary. It was messy because of the typhoon. Some of the pools are closed. The restaurant menu or their food is pricey.

I was impressed with the hotel’s security because vehicles are thoroughly checked upon entry, and guests’ bags have to pass through a scanner every time they re-enter the hotel. Our room was very clean and smelled fresh when we arrived, and a wide selection of different cuisines is available for its guests. Aside from the hotel’s nearness to the airport, getting a cab or Grab is very easy. Because the Shang Mactan used to be the country’s biggest resort, guests can spend their entire stay there without having to leave the hotel premises. Their rates are reasonable (I call it affordable luxury), and the staff very helpful. The employees are not used to speaking Tagalog though so perhaps they can brush up on that.

Reviewed By HildaA783Liked · Well-located, close to malls, businesses and restaurants. Just about 15-20 minutes to the airport by taxi, maximum. Room was huge and had a safe for valuables. Disliked · Where do I begin? I had to book this property last-minute, after my AirBnB cancelled on me also on the same day of arrival. The free shuttle they advertised came one hour late and only after I called at least 5 times once I arrived (and they picked-up the phone only twice). I arrived late to work remotely because of this. It did not get much better after that, as the restaurant food was WAY overpriced (much more expensive than in the USA or Europe, no less), and so were the snacks offered (if you get hungry, just walk across the street to Robinson's or SM and get something to eat there). The internet kept going down, at some point, 3 times within the same 2 hours (lost much more time of work because of this, and it was just a mess). I stayed here for 3 nights and NOT ONCE was the room cleaned or tidied up. The shower had low water pressure, and the bathroom also had a couple of very tiny cockroaches that came out at night. Will not be staying here again.

There’s a free kayaking in the afternoon and other activities. Hope they can setup beach umbrella. Service is superb, exceeded my expectation! From Reservation (special thanks to Camille) down to Restaurant staff! All our request were granted including special arrangement with breakfast. However toiletries are not fully set-up no slippers, no laundry bag etc. Overall experience is good!
