Reviewed By Curtis KWe arrived early evening after making reservations, check in was a breeze. Hotel is very clean, nice pool area and our room was tidy and clean. In the area are shopping and some fast food and sit down restaurants. Good value for our room, we will definitely stay here again when back this way.

Medical traveling professionals unless your company has a direct set price or contract DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. I am a traveling professional GM was aware of this. Was told one price and then told we never spoke about that. I take responsibility because I should have got it in writing. I can assure you though that I never asked to stay in a King Suite at $94.00 during the week and $145 on the weekend. I just needed a reasonable room, somewhere to lay my head. I also kept getting reoccurring charges that tied my credit card up. I also brought this to Tyler’s attention it was resolved one time but started right back up. He didn’t even think to offer me the option to draft my payments every Saturday like his other travelers. The fact that Tyler ignored my emails and then tried to act oblivious when we spoke was all the confirmation I needed. Overall, the hotel is nice and well kept the General Manager Tyler just left a bad impression and if this is one of the representatives of Choice Hotels and Sleep Inn I will not be staying at another establishment affiliated.

The hotel was clean, the staff was wonderful, our room was comfortable, the sofa and chair were supportive, the heating/cooling system was efficient and easy to control, and the breakfast buffet was good and varied each day. There was a snow/ice storm during our stay and the staff worked hard to keep the grounds manageable for parking and walking, This will be our "go to" place to stay for future Jacksonville visits (having stayed at a competitor's hotel twice before).

The bed was as comfortable as holiday inns that I have stayed in. However what put this over the top for us was the outstanding customer service. Everyone was so polite and accommodating. I am assuming the owner is who we dealt with most of the time and he went above and beyond to make our stay great. We were going to go to holiday inn and just stay one night but we were so happy with the cleanliness, customer service and comfort that we stayed our whole trip at this location.

The room had ants, when reported to the front desk - the response was "we had Orkin here last week - we must have missed that room" - no suggestion was made for us to change rooms. The windows, TV, and surfaces were dirty. Window Screens ripped and taped. The bathroom had hair in the tub and sink drains and spots around the toilet. The desk chair was so dirty we could not sit on it. The bed had NO mattress pad. We have done a lot of traveling but this was the worst hotel we have come across. If we had not been exhausted, we would have left that night but we stayed despite our misgivings. However, we did cancel our reservation for a second night there and moved across to the Holiday Inn which had the usual normal accommodations. This is the first negative review I have ever written for a hotel, and unfortunately our first experience with a Wyndym Hotel. The only redeeming Wyndym experience for this trip was a stay at the La Quinta Hotel in Olathe Kansas which met our expectations.

This is why I give it 5 stars From day one I have been treated like family and customer service is outstanding here. They cater to lots of wind farm workers and softball teams. They constantly clean to keep up with the mess that’s left behind by groups of people I see people leave their trash as well as cigarette butts on the ground and then this already overworked staff has to clean up the unnecessary mess left behind. sheets and towels are very clean, beds and pillows are very comfortable. Bathroom is always clean. No left over hair in tub, no bugs If something is not right they make it right. Kudos to all of the staff for all of your hard work in the upkeep of this place. The breakfast area is always clean because I see them always cleaning. Floors always being mopped. All I can say is I look forward to staying here because I know that I will be greeted with a smile by everyone. That’s priceless!!! Katy, Amy and all of the staff do their best to ensure a comfortable and clean stay. thank you to everyone at this Quality Inn.

It wasn’t what we expected
Reviewed By Tourist451733We traveled as a very large group and it was a relief that they could accommodate us...we had two rooms that were right next to one another. Which seemed to be perfect! When traveling you want to have the comfort of your own home in a sense, outside the heat was almost unbearable so going to our room we thought it would be better but with a barely working AC and heated floors in the bathroom that wasn’t true. The second day we asked about turning off the heated floors and for them to check the AC in the room and drop off a fan to help move air and they said they would have maintenance check it out-when we were leaving we saw maintenance and tried talking to them...but the guy wanted nothing to do with us! When we arrived back that night nothing was different and no fan was delivered! The very next morning we went and spoke to them and they grabbed us a fan. This helped but not much! The second room had parents with kids and they were getting bit up but not by mosquitoes but by bedbugs...yes you read that right! This isn’t something we thought would be any kind of issue and was the furthest thing from our mind but everyday more and more bites, we still never thought about it but one of the children said they killed a bug that was crawling around on the bed-black brownish colored! Everyone in that room got bit up have tons of bites all over in patterns! Third complaint-they do not clean the rooms very well at all! Cobwebs were throughout, the rug in front of the rooms had filth and leaves all over it we were dragging them into our rooms and decided to ask for a broom to clean the rug! We left a bunch and housekeeping would come in but not do anything but take out trash! This wouldn’t even be half a circle for the review but it’s not an option! Don’t stay here!!!!

Anniversary Trip!

My wife and I were blessed with an overnight here by my parents for our 8th wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint! They watched our 4 kids while my wife and I stayed in the Tranquility Suite. Every tiny detail here was thought out very well by Glenn and Gwen...to the cleanliness, the decor, the amazing breakfast waffles, the snacks, coffee, water, literally EVERYTHING was 5+ stars! Very thankful to have this quiet time with my wife and will definitely be staying here again in the future! Thank you for an amazing experience!
