We were a bit skeptical because we walked in at 2:35 and the place was supposed to close at 3PM. Rather than order a freshly made sandwich we decided to take a chance on the plate lunch specials. My sister ordered the pasta with a salad and drink. I ordered the meat loaf with mashed potatoes and green beans. We each paid less than $8 and the food was hot, delicious and not at all old or dried out as we had feared it might be since it was so close to closing time. The service was friendly and prompt. This is a great diner when you are in downtown Richmond. You will leave full and satisfied without your wallet taking a big hit.

Food is awesome, large selection and variety . The staff is very friendly and professional. They give Military and Senior discount. Items are priced great even before the discount. I wish we had one in Cullman, Al. The Richmond indiana location on u.s. 40 is #1 in my book

Stopped in for lunch got sandwich, fries and a coke. All was very good with ample amount to eat. I was only able to eat about half of my order so you should not go away hungry. Fries are the good type where you get the whole potato, skin and all.
