Am originally from the east coast and can not fathom the glowing reviews. This is very unexciting food. Sauce is from a can (or made to taste that way): a tomato purée with no character beyond too much sugar and salt. Toppings are ok; the ham and onions on one pie were decent. âCrumbled sausageâ was ... simply breakfast sausage. Dough was fresh, but tasted more like bread than a pizza dough.This is pizza for those who like Pizza Hut. In addition, the beer taps really need to be cleaned.Waitress was attentive and helpful. Prices reasonable.Sometimes a place isnât great, but can be âgood enoughâ if youâre hungry and just want an uncomplicated meal. Bianelliâs is NOT good enough; I wish Iâd eaten elsewhere.Thank you for your comments. We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your pizza and beer. They had 45 customers at one time but only 2 servers so they were a little slow. There is no lights in the place except for red and green bulbs up in the ceiling. Most customers were reading the menu and their bill with a cell phone.My chicken picata was very good. My wife's egg plant Parmesan was big on sauce and cheese but low on egg plant. Another friend ordered shrimp pasta. The shrimp came as we were about to leave. A small thing but my chardonnay came in a red glass and the 3 at the end of our table had their cab served in white glasses.

Great place for a little celebration and some very tasty pasta! Oceanside table was the perfect place - not a bad seat on the patio as everywhere there is a great view. Service was excellent. Pasta was al dente and perfect. Fish special was wonderful and full of flavor. Minor disappointments was a charge for a bread basket refill (but worth every penny) and also the added on charge for the kitchen staff in addition to the wait staff. If you believe your kitchen staff should be paid more then pay them more. The food was excellent! A definite must visit in Kona!

Right at the top of Lunapule you will find this great little grab and go spot. The two Christines are great, and the food is really tasty. They have a small table to sit in the back, its nice to offer, but the view at the beach is nicer. Its in a back storageish area. The food is so tasty, have been several times with many people and we all have loved the food. The Phili is my fav. Always a warm vibe.
