There was an unpleasant odor in the stairwell at the end of the building but other than that the stay was very nice. The breakfast had a nice selection and had to go bags. We stayed two nights. Much cheaper that Put in Bay.

Would you want to ‘get clean’ in a shower full of mold?

Reviewed By stephne92

Extremely disappointing. Room looked clean but bathroom…not so much. Nearly empty toilet paper roll left on, hairs dangling from the towels and the shower. Ugh! Gave me the heeby geebies just looking at it. Mold all around the pan. Soap scum marks all over the walls and the shower head had so much pink bacteria growing on it. Ugh. A simple clean would have taken care of any of these things. This hotel…and every other within a half hour sold out. So I’m stuck. ?

We had a wonderful stay. The room was clean but the carpet was a little damp. Breakfast was limited because of covid. The employee Karen that took care of the breakfast was so very sweet. She went over and beyond being helpful. She even made us waffles! Beautiful pool but didn’t swim. Thanks comfort Inn!

Disgusting

We had no shampoo, conditioner, or soap. When we asked for it, we were told that they had none. We were given two bath towels and a washcloth for a family of four. When we asked for more, we were told there weren't any extras. The room was filthy. It was clear that no one had cleaned the room for an extended period of time. There was a thick layer of dust on everything. We had crumbs and toe nail clippings on the floor, clearly showing that it had not been vacuumed. They bathroom was dirty. The bathtub and shower were so dirty that my family didn't even want to take a shower. There was a large rectangular hole in the dry wall just underneath the countertop. The "spa" was only half filled and the pool was a strange greenish color. I would not allow my children to swim. The breakfast did not taste good. The eggs were watery and the sausage was rubbery. I will never stay at a Days Inn again.

Comfortable Visit

We stopped in here for an overnight stay during a long drive. We called ahead and we were told that a reservation wasn't necessary, as the hotel wasn't very busy. Upon arrival, we had a smooth check-in and the front desk clerk was friendly and knowledgeable. She gave us a choice of rooms, either 1 king or 2 queens, but the 1 king room was on the second floor - and there is no elevator here. So, since my wife was feeling a bit under the weather, we opted for the 2 queens on the first floor. After we got to the room and got settled in, we received a call from the front desk asking if everything was OK with the room. That's something that I haven't had happen in any of my other hotel stays, anywhere. A very nice touch! Wish more hotels did that. The room was clean and tidy. The HVAC had a constant-on setting, which is something we like. We could hear our neighbors occasionally, though, and since we were on the side facing the Ohio Turnpike, the traffic could be heard a bit as well... even with the HVAC running. There was plenty of hot water with no fluctuations. This is a pretty large hotel, with the rooms spread out over three "areas". We were in the C section, so it was a bit of a walk to the front desk. Not a big deal for us, but like the lack of elevator, keep that in mind. You CAN drive from the main entrance to the entrances for the A, B, or C areas, which does help a bit. The hotel is undergoing a bit of a renovation project in the corridors, so it's got the "under construction" look. Also, there aren't any food places close by, but there are plenty about 5-10 minutes away. We did not try the breakfast, and it was picked up by the time we got to the lobby. Not a bad stay overall.

This place had a covered individual parking place with each room. The HVAC was remote controlled and located at the top of the room, on the side so the heat stayed up around the ceiling, it the summer it might have been better cause cold settles. The bed was comfortable and the shower worked well. No breakfast was offered.
