Bonjour,nous sommes allés vendredi dernier pour une premiere fois dans cette brasserie du centre de Lievin,jolie accueil par le patron ,l endroit est bien decoré et moderne,on nous installe a une jolie table.en entree je prend des calamards frits assez bons avec leur sauce.ma femme prend une assiette de charcuterie fromage frais et tres gouteux.en plat elle prend un rizotto saumon de tout premier gout super! je prend un filet americain qui se revele tres gouteux aussi ainsi que les frites qui sont tres bonnes aussi.Le service est tres correct,l ambiance est bonne a testerje conseil cette aubergebonne journeeFranck

I took some clients to The French House on Sunday. It was moderately busy and seemed to have plenty of staff on duty. But the service was very slow, there were problems with the orders, and there were issues with the food. The green salad was off, meat was in one case very overcooked and in another undercooked. And the staff were inattentive. I won't be going back.Sorry for all.

Nous sommes 4 dont 1 enfant de 3 ans ce midi Au Bureau de Lievin. Il est 13h, pas trop de monde. Bon accueil du personnel, au petits soins pour mon petit-fils. Les steaks à cheval avec frites sont bons sauf la salade qui est très fade. Pour ma part j'ai pris un mijoté d'agneau aux petits légumes. Malheureusement la viande était difficile à couper avec gras et nerfs. Je l'ai fait remarquer au serveur qui me dit qu'il va transmettre aux cuisines. Je m'attendais à un retour, mais arrivé à l'addition aucun commentaire, aucune excuse... Comme si je n'avais rien dit. Dommage. Ce sont ces petites choses négatives qui font que les clients ne reviennent plus.

d'extérieur on ne se douterait pas qu'il s'y cache un restaurant. accueil familliale et souriant, la carte réduite à son minimum que ce soit en entrées, plats et dessert, mais tout est frais et c'est efficace....c'est bon, quantité suffisante, et prix doux. très agréable découverte. à revenir

Four of us on Friday night, looking for something good to eat having had a rather poor meal on Thursday found this place on good old Google.The car park was full, good sign, the restaurant was filling well, we tend to eat earlier than the French, so there was some atmosphere in the place. The menu was on a large A frame black board brought to each table as needed, a bit quirky but it works. The selection was good and the food was excellent, oh yes and the wine was pretty decent as well.I think all of us would be happy to go there again, even the designated driver (me) who had to forego the very good wine.

We had a wonderful evening meal on a really hot night. The food was great and a very reasonable price (despite the problems with our currency!) Service was OK but were serenaded by a duo playing some very nice music We also had our breakfast there but that was a big problem. I think they were trying to manage breakfast as they would an evening meal but I think there were too many chefs and not enough servers - definitely the wrong way round. Get that balance right and I am sure breakfast will be equally as good as the evening meals
