We stopped for lunch and they offer a single menu at midday for 16.50 Euros. It includes wine or coffee and dessert. Today's offering for the day was magnet de canard (duck breast) which was enveloped in a flaky pastry with apples. It was accompanied by roasted potatoes and warm cherry tomatoes. Presentation was fancy with asparagus and a strand of chive and it was served over a balsamic sauce.The atmosphere is very chic and the service was excellent.

Allez y juste un midi pour gouter un "simple" menu de jour. Vous comprendrez le reste.Ca fait 4 ou 5 fois que j'y vais et le Chef arrive toujours à me surprendre.

Ayant déjà pas mal écumé les restos du coin, nous nous sommes arrêtés là , à lâimproviste.Très bon accueil, salle sympa, simple mais accueillante. On voit quâil y a beaucoup dâhabitué malgré les prix assez élevé pour un resto de tous les jours. Nous avons pris des plats a la carte, sur la qualité rien à dire, on voit que câest frais, tous le monde a été conquis. Noix de saint jacques au top, vraiment gouteuse, accompagnement bien choisi. Par contre pour la salade dalexo XL, câest à revoir, un morceau de foie gras poêlé bon mais sans plus, 5 tranches de magrets confits séchés, quelques gésiers, mais surtout de la salade, et un assaisonnement assez fade, jâai trouvé ça très léger pour 19.50â¬. Sinon tous les autres plats étaient au top. Donc peut être une petite erreur dans la salade.Nous y reviendrons surement, mais cette fois ci , plus de salade.

Stopped here for lunch on way to Agen.Very pretty looking typical French restaurant so Sourisdecided to try and translate their chalkboard menu. Result was hilarious and despite assistance of a semi English speaking local we still couldn't understand what we had ordered! The owner/waitress kept saying Souris which we translated as mouse or lips and she made things worse by saying 'like Disney'. Nevertheless we ordered and got an absolutely delicious Pork shank with dauphinoise potatoes, carrots and courgettes.Had to have 3 glasses of wine to stop myself laughing through the meal.Definitely a restaurant to visit if in the area.

I went to Le Grenadin with a couple of friends for dinner and we had a wonderful meal. The food was excellent and the service was very good. Definitely a place I will go again. As with most places in France parking can be a challenge. The waitress spoke English and they take American credit cards. I recommend this to anyone wanting a very good traditional French meal.
