The "Calm comme a la Maison" is a cafe in a small brocante shop just off Grenade's beautiful market square. You actually eat in the shop - the kitchen is part of the shop's "fittings" and the table and chairs are part of the shop's inventory of furniture. This changes from week to week, so you may eat from 18th century furniture for one visit and 1920s the next. Everything is cooked in front of you and for our last visit we had a beautifully flavoured chicken on a ratatouille base, made from fresh local produce, and to finish a cherry clafoutis to die for. There is also good local wine at very reasonable prices. The proprietor is charming, very friendly and offers a warm welcome. If given a few days notice, she will offer to do one of a range of main dishes to suit your taste. We will certainly visit again

J'ai passé dans ce restaurant familial du centre de Grenade deux petites heures inénarrables. Tout y est pittoresque : le couple de patrons, les garçons en salle, la salle elle-même et sa décoration, les clients (des autochtones tellement nombreux en ce samedi, jour de marché, qu'il a fallu faire deux services), la nourriture...Tellement pittoresque que discrètement, j'ai fait plusieurs photos que je ne peux insérer puisqu'elles présentent des clients.En entrée, j'ai mangé des betteraves rouges et une terrine très traditionnelle. Ensuite trois tranches de rôti de porc sauce charcutière, accompagnées de macaronis d'un autre âge. Enfin, des glaces à volonté car en libre service. Tout cela pour 13 euros avec du vin qui coule à flots.Un restaurant absolument inoubliable qui permet de retrouver l'ambiance et les saveurs d'il y a bien longtemps ! Une antithèse de la grande gastronomie guindée et dispendieuse. Et mon commentaire n'est nullement ironique.

My lunch comprised Brochette de boeuf, with potatoes mushrooms and salad. Then a choice of 4 deserts of which I took the Tarte de Pomme. The bill of 13 euros included my expression coffee. A busy clean brasserie on the main square - which has a big market on Saturdays.Looks like there is a decent menu for evenings.

Burger fait maison excellent, frites très bonnes. Seuls petits regrets, à leur début, les quantités étaient un peu plus généreuses et le pain meilleur. Mais tout est vraiment excellent.

Entre copine un soir en semaine nous avons été parfaitement accueillies par le serveur en terrasse. Super réactivité et amabilité au top. Les ravioles sont copieuses et excellentes ! Je reviendrai avec grand plaisir merci.

Jâai eu plaisir à converser avec le pizzaiolo et câest toujours intéressant de connaître la composition de la pâte.Il a choisit une farine blanche très fine quâil couple avec une farine complète et une farine de soja ( je ne savais pas que cela existait) pour améliorer la digestion.Et il farine son plan de travail avec de la semoule de blé ce qui donne un petit côté croquant au final.Une super idée. Jâai envie dâaller goûter ses autres spécialités. On peut commander à emporter

On an evening with an empty fridge and no enough time or reservation to go to one of the real Pizzeria in the Toulouse area, we decided to try what seems to be the best pizza in town. It is easy to say that the pizza choise is good and the price are more than reasonable. It is quite harder to judge the Pizza taste. If judged by regular italian standard, the pizza is quite bad, with little and poor sauce, too much bad cheese and it is cooked in an elettric owen. If judge by average outside Italy standard, the pizza is not bad at all with a nice dough, decent produts and easy to digest (you will not wake up in the middle of the night feeling like you are about to explode or like you need to drink the whole atlantic ocean). Overall I wouldconsider it a more than decent option for an emergency take away pizza in Grenade

We went to Le Manhattan for lunch. The whole experience was average... An average menu with the usual choices , average food taste (not bad, no wow ) , average service and average prices. Overall a decent place to grab a meal while out but not good enough to go out to eat
