Les Ferlempins is our favourite restaurant in Compiègne and we come here very often. Each time we leave in pure amazement: The food is very creative, the ingredients are of very high quality and the taste is always an innovative combination of different tastes and textures. The service is very friendly and the wine recommendations are great. The three course menu is topped with an additional amouse bouche, a sorbet as pre-dessert and little sweets as finishing touch. The quality you get for this price is incredible. We strongly recommend this restaurant and suggest to reserve ahead as they are often fully booked especially on Fridays and Saturdays.

This was the second time I have visited L'Endroit and both times I have been I have been impressed. It is a small restaurant but the menus are great value and the dishes imaginative enough to get the taste buds working overtime. A limited but very adequate wine list complements the menu choices. Book in advance because it really is quite small.

Wonderful, charming indoor & outdoor view of the pond, fine food, very good, prompt friendly service, moderate prices (including for the wine), live music... what more could anyone want? Two tiny improvements, perhaps: better signs to make this out-of-the-way place easier to find, & better music, though it is very discreet. As for the "type de visite" below, this restaurant would in fact suit all the categories perfectly. It is one of the best restaurants in or around Compiègne, & it has the best view by far.
