My hamburger tasted foul as if the meat had gone bad. My fries tasted artificial as if they had been made from a powdered mix. My sons and wife had salmon dishes, and made faces without finishing their orders. The waitress was very nice, and the decor was nice, though dusty. We're not going back.

We have eaten filet all over the world. The flavor in the filet was phenomenal. It's what you travel to France to experience. Exquisite, subtle flavor combinations that make you sad when you're done. The potatoes as well were simply fantastic. We weren't impressed the desserts so save your money and just allow the filet to be your dessert. We plan to go back again tonight!

We stayed overnight at hotel in a nearby village on our way Paris and were looking for a place to have a dinner. The hotel owner recommended this restaurant. My colleague and I didn't know what to expect, but were very pleasantly surprised.Service: very friendly and fast.Francois, the owner of the restaurant, doesn't speak much English, but wanted to help us with the menu (it's also only in French), so he asked his guest (and a friend of his) to help us with translations and recommendations. This was sooo unexpected and hospitable! This is how we ended up choosing the salmon. It was simply amazing, very well cooked and original. We also got 2 appetizers as a compliment from the restaurant. All in all the food is unconventional, artisan, if you wish. The prices are very reasonable. Our check was for 66 EUR for 2 persons (2 main dishes, 2 desserts, 2 drinks)Highly recommended! Cordiali salutiAlexia

Cosy ans small restaurant.Menu on black board!all the Cuisine is homemade!cuisine de Marché!three starters, four main courses, four desserts
Stopped here for lunch on the way home to the UK after a two-week trip around France; we didn't eat better anywhere. Just delicious, unpretentious dishes cooked and served with thought and care. Helpings are more than generous - we left feeling replete, to say the least - and wonderfully good value, no matter the exchange rate. The (chef's own) foie gras is to die for, and his chocolate mousse so good we demanded the recipe! Definitely mérite le détour for a pit-stop en route north or south.

We booked this restaurant four days in advance to enjoy a night by the water for our wedding anniversary (my husband went there in person and made the reservation). When we arrived, there was no table reserved by the water, an unattractive one next to the entrance was offered and the manners of the waiter were quite rude. We returned to Compiegne where we live and enjoyed a beautiful night in our favorite restaurant which was full but the staff was accommodating and had the very best intentions.

This restaurant is a good family restaurant based on a leisure park. It specialises in potato recipes, mainly baked potatoes. Portion size is large and there is a good children's menu. The only downside is I feel that I was overcharged by the cashier but as he retained my bill, I can't prove it. I wonder if others have the same experience???

Les Ferlempins is our favourite restaurant in Compiègne and we come here very often. Each time we leave in pure amazement: The food is very creative, the ingredients are of very high quality and the taste is always an innovative combination of different tastes and textures. The service is very friendly and the wine recommendations are great. The three course menu is topped with an additional amouse bouche, a sorbet as pre-dessert and little sweets as finishing touch. The quality you get for this price is incredible. We strongly recommend this restaurant and suggest to reserve ahead as they are often fully booked especially on Fridays and Saturdays.
