We were so grateful to have been accommodated without a booking for our family celebration. We were shown to a lovely table. Disappointingly for one of our party, they were unable to have their choice of food or drink (apparently there had been a fire in the kitchen so fish and chips were off the menu). Then after waiting for our starters for 45 mins, our mains turned up. We asked the waiter but they didnât know what had happened, so we agreed to keep our mains as we were so hungry. When we went to pay the bill our starters were still on there. The food was fine.

Were lucky to get a table the first night without booking. Good local wines and the communication between staff and us was funny but effective as neither spoke each other's language well. Meat , pasta dishes very good. I had snail piazza which I loved.Went back the next night , food just as good but they were a chef short so a little delay but worth waiting for.Merci de votre visite ainsi que de vos commentaires ce fut agréable de vous recevoir et de vous porter satisfaction, à une prochaine fois certainement sur lâile de ré

Stopped here for lunch and wished we didnât. The food was really poor. But what topped it off was the service. We were pretty much ignored for 30 mins. Yes it was quite busy but people who arrived after us were waited on. You are limited for choice in this area but still there must be much better places to eat.
