My wife and I were staying in St. Denis, and saw this listed as the #1 restaurant in St Denis, so we had to try it. First off, atmosphere. A cozy, small place with a western flair. Wooden floor, a cow horn mount behind the counter, and westerns playing in the TV (They Call Me Trinity with French dubbed). Very nice. Friendly service, dry welcoming, though just one person serving (and someone unseen cooking). A very cool mix of burgers, from the more traditional LâArtisan to the funky Le Forgeron (with raclette) and Le Mineur (with grilled eggplant), chicken, pulled beef and even vegetarian, thereâs something sure to please any palate. The fries are hand cut skin on, and sprinkled with salt and smoked paprika for a wonderful smoky flavor. About the only odd thing was the lack of ketchup, not on the burgers, not with the fries, not on the menu. This hidden gem is a place we would definitely return to.

i've know this place from the very beguinning. Went there for dinner, 30th march at 8pm and had to wait for my girlfriend. the stupid manager or so tells me it's ok if she arrives in 5 mn for if it's 20mn, he can't give me the table... i get the table. don't expect to have time to ask for the bill, they bring it to you, though you might want something else... their only goal, is the big number, not to treat you like they used to and should !!! May be owners of this place should do something about it and tell the manager it's not macdonalds, it's a restaurant. i don't blame the waiter, for he does what he's told to do.
