While visiting Paris, we happened upon this delightful restaurant by chance and as it was early, we were seated without a reservation. The food and service were nothing short of fabulous. We each enjoyed two sumptuous pasta dishes followed by the most delicious tiramisu dessert. On my next visit to Paris, this restaurant will be top of my list!!

unique cosy warm clean inviting and friendly staff . good value for money compared to most restaurant's in the area.I chose a lovely pasta dish with basil and tomato and my partner chose four cheese Pinsa. both dishes very tasty ,well presented and very filling. good menu choice. being restaurateurs ourselves, of an Italian restaurant, we appreciate the effort that goes into freshly prepared home made food . we would defiantly go back when in the area.

The chef, the owner and the staff all come from a town in Northern Italy. Having lived in Italy for years, I am familiar with the tourist trap food and the really good homemade pasta and fresh charcuterie. This is the real deal. I've lived in Paris for a year now and have tried just about every highly rated Italian restaurant in Paris. This is the place I tell people to visit. Finding vegetarian options in Montmartre was proving difficult but then we noticed this small restaurant which was very busy and bustling...a sure sign the food is good. And it was good. Bruschetta to start with, then ravioli. Both delicious. House red wine was perfectly acceptable. The tables are VERY close together and itâs noisy with conversation so not the place for a quiet tete a tete. It does encourage you to talk to the neighbours though !

A party of 5 of us went for an evening meal and although the restaurant is a little bit hidden, it was well worth seeking it out.Despite the language barrier the service was good and the food excellent.I would definitely go back and recommend this restaurant.

We were exhausted after a day of travelling from Bordeaux and a climb up to Sacre Coeur but the delicious pasta dinner we had here and the friendly service gave us the strength to go on. The linguini carbonara was the best Iâve ever had.

And absolutely dreaded the first bite. Looks can be deceiving. The pizza had a melt-in-your-mouth goodness I finally understood what everyone was raving about! Who makes pizza where the cheese is placed in blops like and ingredient and not covering the crust? THEY DO and it WORKS! The sauce is so good that the cheese serves to add to its flavor and every bite was delicious.

What a great Pizza. Everyone claims Paris has some of the best food in the world. Thatâs a bunch of garbage. This place is a shinning star in a city that has a bunch of pretentious and gross restaurants. I enjoyed the atmosphere, food and service at Jimmy 2s. Such a good dining experience.
