Recherchant désespérément un endroit pour dîner,nous sommes tombés sur ce snack et avons été très agréablement surpris.L'endroit est très propre et l'accueil sympathique.La nourriture est bonne et les salades impressionnantes.De plus ce n'était qu'a 200 mettes de notre chambre d'hôte

A good find, I had a delicious beef tartare, although i looked with envy at the seafood boat as it went past. Great atmosphere at night with fairy lights; we sat outside and felt like our holiday had started as we relaxed and enjoyed a cold beer and an aperol spritz. The red house wine by the glass was lovely.

If you are driving up or down A6, this is just a short detour. It is however not a short stop -- expect a full 2 hours. But the wait is worth it. Incredible choice of cuisses de grenouilles, clearly a personal obsession of the chef. Great local products, many of them organic. Very friendly service (in a somewhat stiff and provincial atmosphere).

Nous sommes allés déjeuner à 6 dans ce restaurant, en Février 2019.Les plats étaient immondes : mal cuits, non savoureux, mal présentés.Aucun légumes ni accompagnement.Service froid et pas professionnel (ne posez pas de questions, ils ne peuvent pas vous répondre).Dessert : une boite de salade de fruits toute prête et posée dans un bol.Passez votre chemin.Ce n'est pas de la bonne cuisine.Voir pas de la cuisine du tout.

we drive an hour from nearby city there for a dinner and it was exceptionally good; the food is served perfectly. we ordered two different set menus; one with local dauphiné ravioli and another one with duck. Perfect. It was said the lake view is even better but we can only see dark outside; it's the reason i can only give it 4 stars. other things are perfect.

Petit restaurant très sympathique avec un accueil de la patronne très chaleureux. Choucroute excellente et copieuse. Un dessert aux pommes et cannelle très bon également. L'Alsace s'est invité merveilleusement bien dans nos assiettes.

We stumbled upon the Ambroisie by accident as bad weather meant that our plans to go further a field had to be scrapped and it will definitely be a regular in our address book!Everything was perfect, from the wine, to the food and importantly but often not present in France, the service. The food was delicious and was carefully prepared, really nice. We opted for a menu and wished we had chosen the Chefs menu where you don't chose what you eat but the chef decides instead. It was that good I would be prepared to trust him!

Travelling out of Lyon - the City of Gastronomy - it was a real pleasure to find fine cuisine just on it's outskirts. Unpretentious and I would even say the decor has you wondering if indeed it will be just about appearance, once the food starts to arrive you know you're in for a real treat. There was not a dish served that wasn;t finely prepared and well balanced. This restaurant deserves grander surroundings, and certainly deserves a major detour if you're anywhere close by.

The burgers at L'Esquisse are really tasty with a good list of toppings to choose from--if you don't want a set burger, you can construct your own. The fries are house made and the portions are generous. The non-burger menu is also good, as are the desserts and the delicious rum! Staff are very friendly. Definitely recommend.
