After all this positive words in here, we decided to visit this restaurant. We were truly disappointed. First- the food was in really mini- portions and to the main dish you got only "a French baguette" (waiter let us know that it's not "only" a baguette BUT A BAGUETTE- as it would be the best thing in our main dish...) - no potatoes, rice or anything like that. Food was quite okay but our steaks were not cook as we like it- nobody asked us how we would like to have it and we forgot to say. After our really polite remark that they should ask clients about it, we got an long explanation how IT SHOULD be cooked... Well, I think if you pay so much money for the food you should have the opportunity to choose it... No more comment needed, i think... Anyway- it was far away from "WOW"... And I think we won't come back there as here are so many much better restaurants where you'll pay the same money for 1st- better service, 2nd- better food...

The place is very cozy, tiny made up all of wood. The tarte flambée was delicious, the problem was the espresso which was terrible. Burned and zero body.

My husband and I stopped by Hotel Restaurant Jenny after visiting Montagne des Signes. Although the menu seemed more limited than what we saw posted on the outside of the terrace, we were pretty happy with our orders. I had asparagus with two sauces, dried ham, and Black Forest ham. My husband had the jambonneau with cheese sauce. We shared a split of wine.I noticed all of the dishes coming out were well presented and the wait staff was pleasant, although I got the sense that they might not get a lot of Americans there. Given that Kintzheim has some big attractions, that kind of surprises me. I didn't get the idea that this restaurant was particularly popular with tourists, though. Most of the people dining when we were appeared to be locals.Overall, our experience was pleasant and we'd return.

Walking down from castle Haut Koenigsbourg, this is the place to stop. The location is uninspiring (no view) but the food is good and good value for money, the service both friendly and slightly formal/old-fashioned, if you can imagine that combination.

There are better restaurants in the area. This one was disappointing. Service busy - restaurant full but only two people serving. Food for 4 was mixed - OK foie gras escallop but only; potato galletes with munster was poor; duck burger - nice idea but didn't work well... Need to BOOK.

We ate here on a Saturday night with a reservation. The place was very busy and the staff were efficient but not very friendly. When we were asked for our orders we had to ask the waitress if we could view the specials board that we could see at the larger table near by. We decided to go for the cote de boeuf (1kg piece) for 2 people and bought a lovely bottle of Bleger pinot noir from St Hippolyte at 25 euro. We were asked how we wanted the beef cooked, but there was no mention of what was served with the beef. When the beef arrived, it was cooked to perfection, and came with spaetzli, chips and veges. The portions were generous, but so was the price at 50euro for 2 people. The beef was tasty, but not the most tender and had quite a lot of fat and sinew to deal with. Overall, a good meal, but next time we would just go back to Jenny's down the road.

This place was absolutely terrible! The food was almost uneatable. The salmon tartare was terrible. The salads partially where spoiled. Only because we were absolutely hungry and it was 3:30pm. It was only place in that village! But please make an effort to drive even to a tanking station, itâs better food there!!!

Passing through and sleeping here, i had dinner in the very cosy and nice, traditionally decorated restaurant, a bit separated from the hotel. High quality local specialities, very good, maybe somewhat traditional wine list with lots of local toppers, very friendly, very welcoming. Ate a wonderful terrine here and some tradtional tripes d'alsace. Very high quality, nice place.
