Best pet friendly place on the beach!
Reviewed By johnfF9023DHI pull up to the office, and see a sign on the door welcoming my dog! The staff is awesome. Amanda was super accommodating, making sure I had the perfect room, and everything I needed. The room was great. Nice and clean, great water pressure, and a fully stocked kitchenette. Being right on the beach, we tracked in a lot of sand. I asked the front desk for a broom, and Alex, the manager, had one sitting in front of my door in minutes. The location is perfect. Especially if you have a dog. It's far enough from downtown so you don't have to deal with all the people, but close enough to go there if you want. It's also only a 10 minute drive to Bonita Springs dog beach. Dogs are also welcome on this part of Ft Myers beach. They also have a few beachfront rooms. Next visit, I'll be staying in one of these.

Good old fashion beach hotel

I was disappointed that I spent a lot of my time dumping this tiny humidifier in our room without a warning I needed to do so as day one it was awfully sticky in there. The A/C unit was so loud it woke us up constantly as it sounded like someone was hammering when it kicked on, but the views were beautiful and the restaurant on the sixth floor was amazing. We wouldn't stay here again as there are a bit nicer and quieter places, but was worth the stay the one time for sure.

A relaxing Stay

You have a refrigerator, stove , dishes toaster, microwave and sink..The motel had beautiful outdoor scenery, very close to beach, stores and square. I would highly recommend staying here!

Reviewed By David MStayed in 2017 and 2022had a blast both visits. We love staying during the off-season less crowds and you get to really enjoy more of the historical part of the town. Plenty of room on the beach to enjoy the sun and surf and you’ll never go hungry.

I would definitely recommend the bay inn for anyone wanting a quieter environment (in lieu of the main hotel) but with all the amenities of being next to the beach, etchings . The place was clean. TBH, I was a bit afraid of bed bugs given other reviews but we checked the place out before bringing anything in and it was clean. Mattresses had zippered covers. Beds are cheap and uncomfortable. Interior is dated. But we were at the beach the whole day. Fine for a short stay.

Last Minute 4th of July Stay
Reviewed By LambertPartyof7We stayed a week in the King Room it worked great with my husband, myself and our two small children. Our room was very clean. The maid service was incredible. We had an end unit closest to the bay and loved our morning coffee drinks. We were within 3 minutes of the beach access and 2 minutes from Time Square. We will return to this location.

Your frugal option
Reviewed By nrmlodik14We stayed here in 2021 and rented the penthouse via Airbnb; that was a really nice option and had a good rate. In 2022 we stayed in a double queen. It met basic expectations for the price. The most difficult thing is that it is hard to get a hold of someone for any needs/concerns. If u really want to go to Ft Myers and can’t spend the $400 a night at most places, this is an ok choice. That’s said, you may just want to lean into a little more expensive place to feel ‘taken care of’ and enjoy slightly bigger rooms/windows.
