Since this location is so close to my house i thought I would give it a try after not visiting for many years. it used to be an excellent local place to go with great service and excellent fresh food. No longer is it worth visiting. Other than it's location there is not one single aspect of the meal that rates above one star. It's difficult to find one single worst feature as they were all terrible, from inattentive wait staff who were incapable of making themselves understood, dirty glass wear and silverware, lukewarm food, terrible service and and overall dingy atmosphere.

Spreading the joy of what great sushi should be: delicious, responsibly sourced ingredients, creative and tasty combinations and an experience you want to have again and again.
Itâs the airport so consider the location. Started with the edamame with chili sauce and this dish is fantastic! We ordered chicken and veggie ramen each. I was content considering the alternatives. Service was fast and efficient. We will be back on our return.

I love Japanese food and Miyako satisfies my often cravings. Great service and food --there-- and at their sister restaurant at 9533 S Dixie Hwy.

the food is good and servings are generous. Just didn't seem exactly like genuine Thai. The Masuman curry was good...potatoes were big boiled chunks rather than fried. It had a lot of big chunks of beef, too.

1st visit to this place. Went solo on a Thursday evening while staying at a nearby hotel on business.Although it was a buffet, the server was attentive. Many hot & cold offerings, including soups, sushi & sashimi. They also had various shellfish as well as deserts that I didnât try. Whole thing for $19.40 includes tax, not including drinks, so that was a decent value.

We enjoy Lan's under $12 lunch specials, which include a main course (we usually get grilled salmon), served with miso soup, a California roll ($1 extra made with brown rice), mesclun salad and Asian sprout salad. Sometimes the salmon is a bit overcooked and slightly on the dry side, but I love the strip of charred salmon skin they leave on the fish.Service can be spotty. There usually isn't someone assigned exclusively to the register at the entrance or to showing patrons to their tables. Bottlenecks sometimes occur. The restaurant seems understaffed, and the harried servers appear to have multiple--too many?--responsibilities.Lan is known for its popular bubble teas, which come in several flavors. (If you're watching your carbs and/or calories, you might want to steer clear of them, especially the sweet creamy ones made with tapioca pearls. They are delicious, but some could contain more calories than your your lunch or dinner!)

About Akashi Japanese Restaurant Akashi Japanese Restaurant was established in 1993. The restaurant was started by Larry Chi and wife Barbara. At the time they started, they were the youngest sushi bar in town (average age of chefs was 21). The owners had
I parked in the back in front of a sign that warned unauthorized cars would be towed. When we entered and seated I asked the waitress if that was ok and she responded that it was for employees, Guess they are more important than diners, should be interesting to see how that works out when they can park and the diners can't.When you enter the restaurant is a long narrow place with the sushi bar forming a T at the end. On the sides are narrow tables with plastic chairs. The tables are black lacquer but most are a bit worn. In the center of the room is a series of carpeted rubber mats. Food was pretty good, but the decor could definitely use a refresh. There are no windows and the place is dark almost to the level of dingy. Some brightening would be a huge improvement. I asked for Kiuri as it was not on the menu, the waitress did not know what it was, so I asked if they had cucumber and she said yes. When the food came, I got cucumber, no dressing etc.. be carefull what you ask for you may get it :-), I also ordered the Tonkatsu which was very good, not too oily and a nice sized serving, only issue was they placed a paper doily on the plate under the meat, I don't know what for, if to absorb oil it was not needed but did seem to get in the way. My companion ordered 3 temaki, a salmon which she liked and 2 of something else that had fish. She was a bit surprised that the fish was cooked and they had an asparagus spear in the cone. But she said they were good just the same. I had an iced tea that was never refilled, I did not request a refill but felt I should have at least been asked.

Moon Thai & Japanese was established on August 3rd, 2000, in Coral Gables, FL by lifetime chef and restaurant owner Jack Punma. Since then, the restaurant has expanded to include three additional locations: Kendall, Coral Springs, and Weston, FL. The menu
One terrific lunch. My friend and I started off with a saki, and an Asahi Super Dry. Outstanding. We had their ginger salad and soup. A+. Then the salmon and vegetables. Excellent. Service was ok, not great. The strength of the setting and their menu made up for the service shortfall. They earned a 5!

Totally lost in a middle of a small shopping mall, between Ace Hardware and a grocery shop, not a place where one would expect to find a top notch, sophisticated, Japanese restaurant - superbe products, fresh fish, both imaginative dishes and traditional fare. Worth a trip for a great diner at a decent price.
