In short, this is what we need more of on Miami Beach... great food at a reasonable price. Step into this cute restaurant across the street from the Normandy fountain and you'll find a pizza sized slice of Puglia, where the owner has another restaurant. We had a burrata appetizer, mixed mushroom pizza and a ravioli with ricotta, spinach and cherry tomatoes...all made in-house from scratch. The wine list is good, with some tasty choices in the $30-$40 range. Buon Appetito!!

It continues to amaze me that this great dairy Italian kosher restaurant is most often overlooked. All of their dishes are expertly prepared, with the pizza being the best kosher pizza around. It is true that they have limited toppings for the pizza but the thin crust pizza in the wood burning stove is terrific. In addition, their pasta dishes are prepared al dente and far surpass other kosher restaurants in the area. Likewise, the fish and salad choices are well prepared.

Just came back from this kosher restaurant in Surfside. Don't waste your time. The food was mediocre -- the vodka pasta lacked vodka, the pizza had a soggy crust and tiny toppings, the caesar salad had about three croutons in the entire bowl. The service was awful -- we had to ask the owner/manager to get us more water. No one asked if we wanted a second glass of wine or anything else, for that matter. We got one entree -- and then waited 15 minutes for our second. Too bad we wanted to eat together. We watched, however, while the table next to us received all their food at the same time. We were shoved next to the prep area while we watched other couples of two get choice tables. The restaurant, too, adds an 18% service charge automatically, so they don't care if you get service or not. We always overtip; this time we would have left much less. And the noise level at this restaurant is unbelievable. I had to yell at my husband to hear him -- and he was just across the table. Terrible service, so-so food -- there are much better kosher restaurants just down the road.

Felt like we were long-lost family at this trattori-style restaurant. Super-friendly owner from Argentina, he and his wife make fresh pasta and desserts every day, and each dish was tastier than the one before. We didn't make it to the homemade gelati but it looked great.

Since I'm on a diet I couldn't partake in their pizza as much as I would've liked to. The staff were friendly. I ordered a salad with grilled chicken. Short wait. Meal was maybe $11 for a big salad and good portion of chicken. All ingredients were fresh. It was a very good meal. There is limited seating. Only one table inside and I think two more outside. I'm guessing most people get takeout.

The pizza is what I've always had while visiting Gol and have always been more then satisfied. This last visit with 5 friends decided to have the lasagna. Not only did Roberto forget to put the order in I had to flag him down since he had not come back to the table since taking the order and my friends were already half way done with their food. No acknowledgement of his mistake which made eating the dry lasagna even worse.Dear Chilrish, First of all let me apologize again for the mistake, that night was very busy and the chef didnât call for your lasagna, when you wave at me we sent the dish right away. You didnât like the lasagna? I pass by your table at list 4 times asking if everything was ok, why you didnât tell me? I could have changed your dish or just waived it from your bill One last thing: you said that you came several times st Gol and you were always satisfied, why you are writing now giving us 3 stars and you never wrote before a better review?
