This is a favorite diner of mine. There is generally very good diner food and service. Mostly hits (food and service) but the occasional misses. There is always room for improvement. While servers are warm cheerful, the host/hostess/cashier folks (the owners?) are robotic. The typical customer interaction when you walk in is "how many?". When you pay, the programmed question is "how was everything?" These interactions are cold and impersonal with no eye contact. It would be wonderful hear a sincere "Welcome! Nice to see you again. May I seat you?" and "Thanks for visiting us again. Hope to see you again soon! We appreciate your loyalty." Cost of these small pleasantries = $0.

Egg Haven was clean provided timely service with a full house. Menus were dirty and should be replaced. Outdoor seating area and servers were pleasant. Prices were reasonable and kids plate pancake was robust and as tasted as expected. Benedict was good, they fry up their English muffins with butter giving them a crispy texture I found unique. We ate twice during our visit after walking out of another place close by that looked filthy.

I have eaten here several times for breakfast which was well cooked and served without the grease. Breakfast is well prepared.Their liver is good, but not special. I also ordered their gyro once. The gyro was served on pita bread which was not typical for this sandwich. (I ate it without the bread.) Their sauce was ok but it did not include cucumbers or cucumber dressing as I have come to expect on a gyro sandwich. They provided their own dressing which was ok. The best thing about this restaurant is the atmosphere. Itâs a fifties style atmosphere with 50âs & 60âs music playing and everyone is extremely friendly.The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is good so I will eat here again.

I have only had the opportunity to visit twice but will defiantly be back every time I am in the area. Fantastic place to eat. Service was excellent, food great and prices extremely reasonable. The staff treats you like an old friend and is very attentive, it's nearly impossible to empty a coffee cup without someone waiting to refill it. They make sure you want to come back.
