This the second time we have eaten here on our way to the airport to fly back north to Canada. A real treasure of a authentic Mexican Cantina. Friendly owner who has good suggestions on what to try. Don't expect your typical american restaurant, as this is a true Mexican Cantina, with all the patrons watching their soccer games and having a good time with a few beers. Love it, even when the owner chided me for asking for a knife and fork for my tacos. I really only wanted them for the rice and beans. Everything is homemade and fresh. Really delicious and will miss it back north.

Valeria was our server and was so sweet and helpful. We ordered the fajitas and Mole Chicken enchiladas, can't remember the name of the dish, but they were both very good! We were there for lunch and my husband did get a draft beer too and the serving sizes are larger than typical lunch portions and the bill came to $43 plus tax and tip, which we feel is a bit pricy for Mexican food during lunch. I assume the rent is high because it's in the mall, therefore the prices have to support it. I would probably not go back for lunch, but I would definitely go back for dinner and then try a margaritas.Thank you for your comments and feedback, we appreciate your business and hope you return.

Cantina Sol, Marinatown Ln, North Fort Myers, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on the food & chatter. The food. I went cheap today and got the special. A burrito with rice and beans. 8 bucks.Well it sure was pretty looking. Just as nice looking as the decor and setting on the water. But compare to my last visit, the food sucks. This was a horrible tasting burrito . The filling was worst than in those packages in the grocery store. Rice was just ok and beans so so..Service was outstanding but this item, Taco B*ll does better.

We've been to this restaurant twice already and love it. It's located in a strip mall but don't let the location fool you. The food is delicious! We've never had a problem getting a table for 5-6 people, even on a Saturday night. The service is prompt and each waitress is very cordial. They don't try to rush you out after you've finished eating. The menu offers a wide range of Mexican foods and specialties. All of us have loved every dish. There's always plenty of food left to take home. Meals are served very quickly and hot!Prices are great. My large quesadilla dish was 6.99!Ambience is not the greatest but if you want great Mexican food this is a must do visit!

I love to go on the weekends because they always have horchata. The Bistec Mexicano is really good. Nice grilled strips of fajita beef with grilled jalapeños, onions and tomatoes. Homemade flour or corn tortillas. Their taco salads and nachos are huge. Everything is always FRESH. Their pico de gallo is amazing. So is the guacamole. The chili rellanos are delicious. The only two things that need fixing are the chips and sauces in the beginning. I leave them alone so I can try and finish my meal. Oh, and the girls that wait on you? Amazing! Smiles galore and always helpful. Taco Tuesdays are fantastic for those on a budget! You know a place is authentic when 75% of the customers speak only Spanish. Clean tables and floors. Parking lot is small but you can find spots even next door. Hole-in-the-wall and worth a try. Yum. Olé!

I wish I could give more, because N Fort Myers needs all the help they can get. But, I’ve eaten there twice and both times the food arrived just slightly above warm. Size was not an issue. Portions are ample, service pleasant, prices acceptable, place appeared clean. I guess for a true Mexican restaurant, I hoped for more. Thank you for your comments and feedback, we appreciate your business and we hope you return.

Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.I order beef enchiladas, lime rice, refried beans & plantains. The best of the meal was the plantains and the silver plastic eating utensils. The lime rice was less than thrilling & the refried beans was even less than ordinary. Plus portions were small. The beef enchiladas were even worst...All I tasted was cumin. No beef,no cheese or anything’s else...Even adding hot sauce did not improve this...The presentation was nice delivered by Uber in a timely manner and still warm..I will not be visiting in future for the food....Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience.
