Reviewed By florencei335This was a lovely place to stay, nice and quiet and about 7mins drive to the town centre/beach which could also be seen from the balcony. The apartment was clean, had air con, WiFi, a TV, cooking facilities. Lovely pool and the food/drinks at the pool bar were excellent. The staff are very friendly and nice. No complaints whatsoever. In fact we did not need to attend the reception for anything during our stay. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Wonderful holiday

We booked a two bed apartment for our family of 4, children 3 and 8. It was spotless and just the right size with everything you need, just wish there was a washing machine (please look into putting these in) Maid cleaned our accommodation everyday except Sunday, never had so many clean towels. Bar staff are so friendly and after a few days knew my order. Close to the centre but also far enough away to be more chilled out. Children's pool and adult pool spotless, adult pool very deep 2.3m which my kids loved. Little play area with slides and swings. Great choice of food at the bar and restaurant. Would definitely look to rebook next year.

Reviewed By XiouuI had such a nice stay at Hello Villas. The villa were clean and really comfy. It’s really calm and you get your own parking spot. The staff is friendly and ready to help you. It was only missing some liquid soap for dirty dishes but otherwise, everything was perfect! I’d recommend It to anyone. It’s worth the price and the proximity with the city center by car or foot is appreciated!

And last but not least the couple who own the place are so friendly and Nice! Do everything to make it a good stay! Very thankful for the nice stay!

Beautiful Spacious Villas Perfect For Families
Reviewed By 603rachelfWe stayed here for a week 2 adults and 2 children aged 3&6 from 11th -18th feb 2022. The villa was so lovely - airy and spacious to say it was only a 2 bedroom villa. It had a downstairs loo and both bedrooms had an En-suite. There was a bath in one of the bathrooms which was great for our 3 year old. The kitchen was equipped with everything you would need and there are Supermarkets close by. The Apolhino Supermarket has everything you could need! The pool area in the Villa was fab with sun beds, and a big table and chairs, however the pool was very cold because it was February so we didn’t actually use it. Lots of wardrobe space! Maid service came once whilst we stayed which was fine. You get loo roll- a kitchen pack with washing up liquid, dishwasher tablet, bin liners, cloths, washing tablet for the washing machine. Shower and separate beach towels were provided m. There’s a great size clothes drying rail which was very handy! There’s a cooler bag which we used to take on days out. We did have a car and I’m glad we did as I would say this location isn’t that close to anything going on. However we were very out of season so this could be different in busy periods. We loved going for days out discovering the stunning Algrave The car park is underneath the villas and there’s a door to get into the villa from there which was good. The beach which is literally a 5 minute walk away is HUGE and very beautiful with a small restaurant on there. There are a few restaurants around the resort but again closed due to the time of year. Negatives The villa was very echoey The patio doors upstairs and downstairs were very stiff! The showers sprayed out onto the floors so ensure you put a couple of towels down to avoid slipping. All in all I would highly recommend the Salgados Beach villas and I would definitely stay there again.

Relaxing Getaway
Reviewed By dkcampsieWe booked this self catering apartment with the idea of relaxing, not leaving the place and to cook indoors (due to Covid). Place easy to find & 5 mint drive to Praia da Luz. Plenty of parking inside and check-in was quick (not much info given though). We stayed in room 14 which is a 1 bed apt over looking the complex & pool. No major issues with the apartment. We stayed in the winter but in the summer the large balcony will be great (could do with 2 x sun loungers). We booked breakfast for the 2 nights which was great and brought to our apt ever morning. Just a couple of things to mention, free Wi-Fi worked fine, no info in the room regarding anything, had a phone but no number of the reception, emergency number, etc, air con worked well on heat (in both living room & bedroom), kitchen needs to be better equipped for cooking and due to Covid-19 I would have liked that there had been some / any info in the apt regarding rules, etc in the room. No gel for your hands, masks, nothing. Overall great & cheap 2 night getaway. We would return.

Very good combination between privacy of your own terrace and communal space at the pool. Would definitely book again!

Reviewed By Moira NWhat a find, this hotel is delightful the rooms are of a good size and prettily decorated. We were on a walking holiday and this hotel was perfectly situated for us to get around. There is an outdoor swimming pool and terrace for sunbathing. The breakfast was simple but lovely with freshly squeezed orange juice, home made jams, local honey and young cheese. There are beautiful views of the area including the owners sheep in the fields which can be seen from a panoramic breakfast room. The only issue was no wi-if and poor phone signal but it made for an even more relaxing time once you got used to it.

Quirky and traditionally Portugese

A folder in accommodation should history and restoration on the buildings which was very interesting The buildings are sympathetically restored, loved the natural pool and the eco friendly vibe. Kitchen is adequately set up, there's a communal kitchen in little courtyard. A lovely touch was to leave mineral sunscreen to use by pool. Very near Luz and Burgau beaches and Lagos town. The road outside is quite busy, surprisingly. Would definitely recommend this place and would return.
