Okay Stopover

Stayed here while passing through late at night and leaving fairly early in the morning. Very basic motel that was the lowest price in town. No real complaints though - it met my needs for a quick stopover.

As Motel 6 places go, this one was good. The rooms are dog-friendly and they have plenty of space to walk your pet. They don’t charge extra for pets either. The motel is located along a city street, not the casino-hotel row, so it is nice and quiet. Would stay here again.

Disgusting... RUN!!!

Reviewed By Teresa W

Where to start? It appeared that the homeless population stayed here and frequented the trash bin. A less than friendly check in clerk who was extremely difficult to understand. A large pile of filthy wet towels laying in the hallway getting to our room. The refrigerator had not been closed, so the freezer was frosted over. The towels were discolored and stained. The sheets had spots. There was something running down the wall under the sink area and near the toilet waste can. Crumbs in the microwave. Streaks on the mirror. Filthy molding. Crunchy and stained carpets. Two of the thinnest pillows we've ever seen in our lives. The table was scratched up and sticky. No shampoo. No coffee maker. No breakfast. Our Reno motels were full. If we'd had ANYWHERE else to go, we'd have left. We sprayed with lysol and slept in our clothes. To pay $65 for this dump was highway robbery!

OK

I was passing thru this area about a week ago. I originally tried a couple places in Eastern Reno/Sparks area (super 8 & another) and could not believe they were asking for over $220/nite for what appears to be an average kinda dumpy place. They all were saying the same thing - "it's Friday nite and prices go up on weekends" ! I was floored that places that should be in the $60-$75 range were trying to extract 3X the norm. This EconoLodge was doing the same albeit to a lesser degree. I have not used this particular place before but I would usually be able to get a room in this area for around $75-ish but since I was tired I paid the asking rate of $105. This place is at best average or in the OK range.

If you have to stay here don't bother to pay to upgrade-

Reviewed By janalynn5255

My hubby and I were here for an event at the Fallon Air Station and choices were limited. We were here 3 nights so decided to pay extra and upgrade to the king suite. Arrived to find bed sheets were ratty and full of hair (most egregious), the toilet didn't flush properly, the sleeper sofa had no mattress which made it impossible to even use it as a couch. Stains on the furniture and I won't even mention the nasty carpet (bring your flip flops!) Folks were nice and tried to address the issue. Hotel has pool, hot tub, tiny fitness room, laundry and breakfast bar. No daily housekeeping services. You will need to ask if you need more towels. Coffee was weak so I would suggest a trip down to the Stone Cabin Coffee shop. Was startled to life one morning by the fire alarm (which I guess that cannot control) but YIKES! Overall the location was good. Take away tips - if you have to stay here don't waste your money on the upgraded room. Everything here is dated. Bring house shoes to avoid the nasty carpet. Take the stairs to avoid the single shaky elevator the stairs are wide and accessible.
