Overlooking the village, the cliff and the sea of Etretat, our 4 stars hotel is only 10 minutes away from the sea by foot. All the rooms are decorated differently and have a special atmosphere. Heated outdoor pool, spa, restaurants, cocktail bar and free private parking.
Charm, Views, & Outstanding Service

The rooms were charming & the staff friendly & very attentive Though we had made reservations to eat in the village, they had reserved space for us in the bistro just in case any of our group wished to change their mind. Several did, and reported having an excellent meal. Breakfast was a treat - get the scrambled eggs if you like them done the creamy French way. Splurge and get a room with a balcony & view - totally worth it. Only regretted that we could not stay longer, and that we had come on a night when the gastronomic restaurant was not open. Won't make those mistakes next time!

Reviewed By camillah213Yes it is a very Nice location by the beach but so many but. But; crazy narrow staircases, if you have luggade, stay away But; Theorin resto was not Nice at all. We sent to have a pastis, and Wagners to order Dinner, 30 min kateter just paid and left for another Resto as we got no Attention at all to order anything more But; the rooms were small and the bed was really really small and hard. I am 1,64m and my husband 1,90m. Bed so small even my feets were out over the Edge But; This is the top of the iceberg. Sexist photograhps hanging all over the restaurant. Woman benig degrading, in chains, crying, being in sexy cloths exposed by a cruel dominant male WTF!!

Reviewed By JocalodaStayed here as a family of 3. We had 2 double beds (140 cms. typical in France, in 2 adjoining rooms called a family room. Bathroom small and had to be careful with shower as no curtain or door but it was OK. Storage for personal articles fine in bathroom, good towels, . Breakfast was typically French with good cereal, croissants, yogurt , fresh bread and fruit. A small lounge is cozy and an outdoor terrace is nice. The owner, manager was very helpful and almost always available. Étretat is fabulous and warrants a visit for sure.

Dim light , dark corridors and creaking floors . Wall , a steel plate shredded shot rocket launcher sets the tone in a setting worthy of a film noir. The country of Arsene Lupin , the ghosts lurking . Miss Marple and Sherlock Holmes Charlie 's Angels Ladies, all the great names of literature the crime series have left here trace of their passage and even hidden in some room some bumps and smaller surveys that must be resolved before you can rest soundly . So open the eye and play finesse ! And needless to slip away , the handcuffs are never far away and the boss is an old fingerprint expert of the Institute of Criminal Research of the National Gendarmerie . In our room, the bathroom was hidden behind a mirror, the TV inside a suitcase, etc. It's nice to have a different experience staying in a hotel and the detective theme was great. It also has a great location in Etretat, a nice old french style town by the northern coast. The staff was very friendly, even though I know very little French, and their breakfast food was very good.

After searching the right one, I finally found this intimate hotel and I was lucky enough to book two rooms. It was just heaven on hearth from the beginning till the end. Nothing to say except that we had great time there in the castel and with the experimented and natural team. The breakfast was just amazing and we got the last one on the terrasse with the sea in front. Very calm and cosy hotel with a safety place for the cars which is useful and worthy comparing to the busiest center of town! We will never forget this time spent there!

The hospitality of the personnel was our worst experience

Although we specifically requested - seeing there was enough space - to sit at a table where we could watch the semi final football match, we were told to sit in a different room. Moreover, the dishes were quite pricey, the plates were noticeably greasy and a strand of hair was found in our food. Not to mention the staff only smiled when we left the place - it was in their closing hours but as we did, customers stayed for the match.

Reviewed By beijingduckA cosy B&B in the centre of Étretat, in a quiet side street situated a safe distance from the hectic seafront. The owner runs an antiques business: the furnishing and decor are resolutely traditional, with old-fashioned bath tub. The owner is alert and communicative.

Reviewed By stella_luxembourgNous avons été très déçu par l’état et la situation de l’appartement du 1er étage: L’appartement était imprégné d’une odeur de cigarettes et la propreté de l’appartement laissait à désirer: fenêtres, sol et meubles terrasses, ustensiles de cuisine, four, grille pain, etc.. étaient sales. Le lit inconfortable avec son sommier jaunit prenait presque toute la largeur de la pièce ne laissant qu’un passage d’une dizaine de cm par rapport au mur d’en face pour accéder à la douche qui est dans la même pièce. Les meubles de ce qu’on va appeler la salle à manger étaient plus que usés également. Le balcon avec la vue sur la mer mis à part l’état de propreté très moyen est à environ à 2m du sol et en face nous avons la terrasse d’un restaurant très fréquenté et puis après la mer oui quand même. Mais inutile de dire que ce balcon est inutilisable à moins qu’on veuille partager les conversations et compagnies de tous les clients qui ont une vue dégagée sur le dit balconet peuvent profiter de l’intimité inexistante qu’offre ce dernier. Cela a pour conséquence aussi que l’appartement est très bruyant car les portes vitrés n’insonorisent pas vraiment l’appartement des bruits exterieurs et le balcon, à moins d’être exibitioniste, ne peut être utilisé. N’oublions pas non plus l’entrée sombre qui ressemble plus à un débarras où un matelat était posé à côté du gel désinfectant ainsi que les toilettes exigues au bout d’un petit couloir à côté de la cuisine. Les étagères de la cuisine et du salon étaient poussièreuses également. Résultat nous sommes partis après 2h et nous avons appris avec surprise que les propriétaires avaient informé booking que nous ne sommes jamais arrivé à l’appartement malgré l’accueil par la personne en charge des locations et des photos que nous avons prises et envoyés à booking pour expliquer notre mécontentement. Évidemment comme d’habitude les clients ayant toujours tort aucun dédomagement ne nous a été accordé en plus du mensonge ci-dessus.
