Owned and operated by the same family for over 40 years.
Stopped in to get a bite to eat on my way home from work and the place was packed, 30 minute wait but we decided to wait due to its 4.6 rating on the internet. Once we got a table the service was decent, coffee was excellent, and the prices were fair.We ordered biscuits and gravy and a smothered green chili burger. The biscuits and gravy were excellent and a huge portion. The smothered green chili burger was ok, the burger was over cooked and thin. The biggest problem I had was that there green chili, wasn't really green, due to way too much paprika. I live in Colorado, make green chili myself 2 times a month and in my opinion, theirs was not a very good green chili. Flavor was bland, except paprika, and it really had not heat to it.All in all a decent place, I would go again and try something different though.

They may not share the same name, but the Arkansas River is essential Colorado. Its foamy rapids and tree-lined bends are a place where beauty and adventure meet, and we opened Boathouse Cantina on its banks to embody all things Colorado. From our locally
Great menu and variety of choices of food. Doesnât take reservations, but you can call ahead to get on the wait list. Itâs probably the most popular place in town offering a beautiful river view while dining on the patio. (There is indoor seating, but patio is worth the wait) Good selection of craft beers and delicious margaritas. The only negative is the service was a bit slow but it was also Friday night and packed. Order the delish chips and salsa to munch on while they are preparing your meal. They offer live music and the band was fab.

Big, shareable portions even on the drinks. There were plenty of other diners and it was a bit noisy. The wait staff was good. We did have one waiter who asked if he could take our plates while we were talking. When he took the plates, we were still talking and he huffed and said, very loudly, YOU ARE WELCOME. We laughed it off and enjoyed the last of our drinks.

Quick service burritos, tacos and libations in a hip, family friendly setting.
A take on build your own , I won't mention their name. Huge portions, fast preparation, very casual. A good place to kick back with friends and enjoy a super huge salad or burrito

We had been driving for several hours with several more to go and arrived in Poncha Springs which, at first glance, din't appear to have any decent eating options. We saw the sign for Tony's and decided to give it a shot with low expectations and only hoping to fill an empty stomach. What a pleasant surprise we got. We were warmly welcomed on entering but warned that it could take some time for food to be prepared given how busy they had been. We decided to wait and were glad we did, we were provided the most delicious Mexican food. Very simple dishes but perfectly prepared, it was thoroughly enjoyable and great value. I don't expect we'll ever be back in this part of the world again but if you are then visit Tony's. You will not regret it.
