Aromas is new in Negombo. Next to Silvia's, it's a new restaurant. We ordered a sandwich and two pizzas. The sandwich was ok, but the pizzas were the worst we ever ate. The pizzas were not fresh and based on deep freeze pizzas. The just put some stuff on it, like tuna for the tuna pizza. But that was so disgusting, we didn't ate it at all. And the prices were almost the same as at Prego. So if you want pizza, go to Prego, down the road. The sandwich, however, was fine. About the pizzas, we told the waitress, but there was just a sorry, and nothing else. After all, we were quite disappointed.

This 'on the beach' restaurant is a little gem! We were stopped on the beach by Gayan who managed to get us in there for a beer and we never looked back!! His enthusiasm was electric as this was a new venture. He made us SO welcome that we stayed and had lunch there. This is a small family affair and goodness the food was amazing. We had devilled prawns and rice just for a snack and you knew you were eating fresh prawns. Gayan couldnt do enough for us, he made us so welcome. The owner arrived who by chance just happened to be our waiter at our hotel and was also a great cocktail maker!! We arranged to come back for an evening meal a couple of days later to have a sea food meal. What a great meal...my partner had an authentic Sri Lankan curry whilst I had a sea food platter of prawns, crayfish and crabs. The meals were perfectly cooked and delicious!! This place has tremendous food, a great atmosphere and is VERY reasonably priced. I cant recomend this place enough for great food on the beach. Iechyd da!!

This is one of my lovely places in Negombo. Place is calm and quiet. Food was extra ordinary. Sri Lanka's tea tastes with International blends. I really appreciate if you could increase the A\C. Because its really hot inside the cafe. Since the outside temperature is high these days in Negombo

We had a very nice lunch here today. The food (veg sandwich and veg burger) was excellent. The Sri Lankan food is amazing but this was a very welcome change after six weeks here. We also enjoyed the fresh juices. Besides the quality of the food and drinks, we really liked the atmosphere of this place. Staff was super friendly and attentive and the interior was funky. It's also possible to do a bike tour via the cafe. We didn't have time for it but it sounded like a great way to discover Negombo.
