I would like to recommend our driver, Alex, the director of Sherine Tours to anyone visiting Sri Lanka. Alex is our driver for our 10-day visit in Sri Lanka. He is a very friendly person. He is very knowledgable about everything in the country. He had a lot of experience on driving. Even though road condition in Sri Lanka is not good in most rural area, we feel very safe and comfortable in his minivan. Alex is a fun person. On our trip, he shared with us a lot of life stories of his own. From his stories, we learned a lot about the country, the history and the culture. Alex always tries to arrange the tour according to our needs. Even though he is not a native English speaker, he tries very hard to explain everything clearly to us. When we need help from Alex, he is always around. And when we want some private time, Alex would stay within reach quietly. Generally speaking, we had a very wonderful time with Alex. So I recommend him without reservation to anyone visiting Sri Lanka.

Picked up from any location the service seemed customer oriented, on arrival into the courtyard "wow" Springs to mind, on aesthetics this place is unreal, exactly what a spa resort should look like, a whole host of staaf waiting to welcome you, only not a single smile on anyone...1st sign, once at the reception placed your order and pay upfront, 2nd sign (if your services are good and you know, why do this?), payment was made with no smile or Thank-you. Led into a room, sit down, roughly slapped on oil and flapped around...I'm sure you've given more care to basting your Turkey at Christmas...even the old man who dropped us off took more care polishing his car. Now I know what a car feels like in a car wash, as the "masseuse" looks at the clock every 1 minute, while slapping a bucket load of oil on.. "good?" We're finished. Next bunch of tourists arrive as I walk out shamed like I just spent 15mins doing something illegal... next bunch of tourists arrive as we drive off, speeding through the streets, dropped off at our hotel, the door slams... we both laugh and think... do we still have our kidneys? It all felt like we'd been kidnapped, and dumped for our lack of worth... all in all a funny experience and a learning experience too, that more and more this world is hooked up on time and money, people and humanity aside. We have deadlines and targets! Realising later that we paid only12 euro for a 75mins massage...Well what do you expect?

Beddegana Wetland Park is very nice place to visit.You can relax your mind for a bit from the stress life of Colombo.In the morning and afternoon you can see many birds flying over there.Some butterflies also if you lucky enough to see.You have to park your vehicle bit far and have to walk 150m to enter the park.Local entrance is Rs 100 per one.There are wooden trails to walk on.One goes through inside the bit forest and can reach to Diyawanna lake.You can enjoy sunset,lake,huge building tops and also take photographs of bats flying.When you finished walking on wooden trails, on the way you can see a forest school with benches and many endemic plants and tress (with hanging their names on boards.)So good to learn and and enjoy,relax. (Note: In front of the car park(cross the road)there is also a historic valued one of the kings has built a clay wall can see.There is also a name board from government with the details)
