Reviewed By 898anatWe are a young couple. We have been here before and just had to come back because this place is just incredible. The pool, the view, the animals... Everything. But most importantly Fátima, the host. She makes you feel at home. Shes one of those people you instinctly love from the start. Adorable, kind and very competent. This time we were here for 4 nights and there was only us in the place which was amazing. Either way, if you're looking for a place to escape the crazy city life.. This is it. I couldn't possibly find enough good adjectives. Just go and enjoy Paradise.

A beautiful stay in Douro Valley
Reviewed By Kimia GIf you are interested in a more rustic, rural experience in northern Portugal, Casa Do Arco is perfect. My family of 7 had a wonderful stay. The traditional style houses have been nicely renovated to appeal to modern tastes. The town is pictoresque in the middle of the valley. The host Joaquim was accommodating and easy to correspond with in preparation for our trip. The only issues are that it can be a bit noisy at night (e.g. dogs barking, people talking late at night). If you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. Also some of the mattresses were uncomfortable. So overall, some of us didn't sleep well, but otherwise had a great experience.

Vista deslumbrante!
Reviewed By nunog79Uma experiência única esta na Quinta da Malhada. A quinta está situada no topo de uma encosta, com uma vista magnífica sobre a serra. A casa está nova, super limpa e é bastante acolhedora. O nosso anfitrião João foi super simpático e mostrou-se disponível para ajudar em tudo o que pudessemos necessitar. Seguramente a regressar.
