Recommended by the hotel (Sorell) we enjoyed an excellent dinner in a very cozy, busy and plenty of energy place.Very friendly, multilingual and fast staff. Food was delicious, good wine list and reasonable price. Maybe because it was packed, we found it a bit too noisy. Seems to be a very popular place in St.Gallen.

Having said that this is a pizza place it does have quite an extensive menu. I stuck to the pizza and it was good. Service was also good if a little unfriendly - probably caused by my poor German. Locals were enjoying the atmosphere. I was pleased to find that credit cards are accepted

As you would expect, this is a "better" fast-food pizza in shopping center. The prices are ok according to what you get. Ideal for non-formal work lunch or just if you have no time.

We had a special menu for the valentines day. It was a delicious 4-course variation with an excellent vine. The service was perfect. All together it was a very good italian evening. Grazie.

There are (too) many pizza restaurants but this one is different. You might have enjoyed a fresh pizza from the wood-stove but what about gnocchi au gratin from the wood-stove? It was great and we enjoy the service and the food.

Die Pizzeria liegt in einem Einkaufszentrum, man sitzt neben der Rolltreppe, Ambiente null. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und aufmerksam, aber auch die gute und preiswerte Pizza sowie die anderen Gerichte kompeniseren die unattraktive Umgebung nicht. Das Essen ist ok, die Weine ebenso, aber es stimmt einfach nicht.....

Best kebab place in the region (maybe in all Switzerland). Everything's fresh and tasty, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming and the whole place has got this "special" vibe. Don't hesitate.

Nette Atmosphäre in einem kleinen, italienisch eingerichteten Restaurant. Die grosse Auswahl an Pizzas und Pastas könnten einen beinahe überfordern. Dir Pizzas sind sehr gross und schmecken ausgezeichnet.

Weekend evening meals in Herisau are not easy to come by but we were recommended to try Il Pomodoro and were very pleased indeed. The staff were welcoming, the food and wine great. On a warm summer evening we had a table in the conservatory, which is bright and light, but inside the restaurant itself looked very warm and cosy and must be especially inviting when the weather is poor. If we ever find ourselves in need of a meal in Herisau again, the Il Pomodoro will be the place we return to.

Just like 90% of Italian restaurants outside Italy, this place would close in 3 months if located anywhere in Italy.I tried a vegetarian pizza and I found on it quite a few things that I've honestly never seen on an authentic Italian pizza, like broccoli and spinach, while none of the regular veggie items where present (onions, peppers, eggplants).Also, I'd be curious to know what kind of yeast has been used to get a pasta so little leavened. My colleague went for some kind of factory-made tortelli which were swimming in a super-liquid panna. He didn't complain though.But luckily I found something really Italian: when some friends of the owner arrived for dinner (around 15 minutes later than me), they got the best table and received their pizza right away, while I was still waiting for mine.I won't talk about the price: my pay is in Euros so I'm a bit sensitive about this topic.No wifi available, just in case.Dear Redflix,Thank you for your review about our Ristorante. Case in point is our vegetarian pizza here. There is no standard recipe for a vegetarian pizza. We make it based on the season and availability of the vegetables and that is why it can be different from what you know as vegetarian pizza. Also there are different styles of how to make a pizza. Our pizza is based on the roman pizza style and not what you refer to as an unleavened pizza dough. All of our doughs ferment for 24 hours before they are ready to be used.
