What I like about Aussies bar is the fact that is entirely open and right on top of the beach. Friendly family run bar, John Cas and son Ollie. I live local and if I fancy a stroll it's nice to drop in for a beer or two and I love the challenge of their Aussie burger and like it says on the menu (STREWTH IT'S HOT)

Visited last night and both ordered fish and chips, mushy peas and bread and butter @ â¬9.45 each. The cod was massive, lovely and white and very tasty. Presentation was good and Tony who served us was really nice. We fancied fish and chips instead of our usual rich meal and thoroughly enjoyed our choice at Arthur's.

Can highly recommend the Sunday roast burger, donât b put of with the name if your not a fan, an absolute taste sensation, tasty burger, topped with cheesy leeks, candied carrots & potato rosti, served with a side of onion gravy & Yorkshire pud, roll on March, canât w8, give it a try!!!

Visited this lovely Cocktail Bar twice during our stay.Its so chilled and relaxing great cocktails great music lovely seating and the best view even at night sit listening to the waves crashing or spot the planes coming over the ocean loved this place.

Visited this place the other night based on its great reviews on here and have to say the food was excellent from start to finish , only let down was speed of service which was very slow both getting drinks and getting our food . Perhaps the kitchen was under pressure but the place was not overly busy and the poor waiters who were first class all the way through , seemed to be trying to compensate for the poor kitchen service . Would definitely go back based on quality of food but please get the kitchen moving a little slicker.Thank you for your feedback and also I am so glad you enjoyed our excellent food. While your title says shame about the service, I think that you contradict yourself by saying the waiters were first class! Which I think it is fair to say, they are!You might think that 25 to 30 people , all coming into a place within a half hour period is not overly busy.And to be fair in places where they serve precooked food, this is not a problem. And would not slow service down.We cook our food fresh. And that is what we serve : Excellent food,( which you agree on.) freshly cooked.The time this takes also depends on what people order.We are not a fast food restaurant. And we hope people who come along understand this. We offer lovely surroundings and a chilled out type atmosphere. For people who look for high quality, and freshly cooked food.Last Saturday we managed to feed 70 people in a short space of time. As we had set an easy menu with dishes that did not take too long to prepare.The drinks are also dependent on what people order. We serve fantastic cocktails and amazing gins and tonics. And Sara takes her time to make sure the presentation is first class. It is one thing serving up pints and another making cocktails. But I do take your point and we are working on speeding up the drinks process.I do understand that some people like food served fast to the table. And I am sorry this side of your evening did not live up to your expectations.But we do hopè you will come back and visit us again soon. Maybe come a little earlier, or later. Out of peak times ( 7 to 8pm) there is a noticeable difference in waiting time.Thanks again for your review..

Went here for dinner as our eldest son was desperate to do the quiz night and what a great find! Food was lovely, good portions and well priced. Lovely staff. However the highlight of the night has to be the actual quiz itself; Gareth was very entertaining and really got the crowd involved especially with the shot round - my son ended up guessing one of the answers the quickest and they made up a kid's shot especially for him! Our aim was to eat in a different place every night on holiday however we enjoyed it so much here we ended up back again. We will definitely be back here when we visit Lanzarote again next year and will have brushed up on Roman numerals by then!

This small sea facing restaurant is all signs when you first view it , the food is traditional English with a change in specials daily . From full breakfast to open sandwiches , pasties and even Sunday roast ,the food is superb ,we went at lunchtime so I asked if they would make me just a very light simple non toasted cheese and salad sandwich ,it was great served with salad garnish and a bowl of crisps .perfect .my wife ordered fish and chips which came with peas and fresh tar tar sauce if you want it , she asked for it to be very well cooked ,presentation was great ,fish good but the chips very Soggy even though very brown were limp and not crisp as if left in the warmer . The food good service great and views and location great . We will go back .
