As you walk up to this place you become consumed, this is cool, current and in many ways very different to the other eateries on the island. Its appeal on the curb stands out, takes your eye and makes you think - oooohhh whatâs that?! The service, at first, seems well orchestrated, smooth and attentive....now even more so than when you walked in, you really want to stay. As I opened the menu and this is where it became confused, each line item / written 4 times, itâs over complicated and sven having finished eating here Iâm still not sure what direction this place is going in. For oysters and a glass of fizz - yes this is your place. For a 3 course meal - no, not here! The amuse-bouche is a lovely touch and whilst it was a wonderful mouth amuser it was just that, an amusement. I opted for the secret cut of pork, Im still not sure of the cut and Iâm not overly intrigued either. The taste under whelmed, no different from beaten down pork loin and the copious amounts of oil on the slate that accompanied this secret did nothing for me, however, Iâll admit the chips were a delight! Should I even be saying this though - of everything Iâve eaten the chips were good?!! Reality!!!! Sorry gourmet, Iâm not in the club! Thoroughly enjoyed our meals here. Very good service. Four of us ate here, all different dishes for starters and mains. Restaurant fairly insignificant to look at but the food is lovely. If I had one small criticism, it would be that the sweets were mediocre in comparison to starters and mains.

We went to this restaurant every day for our breakfast during our trip, after the first morning they knew exactly what we wanted. Even if we walked past later on on our way to the beach etc the staff would always come out to say hello to us. Brilliant staff brilliant place

We had a lovely meal at the Vijing restaurant which has a scandinavian bias to menu- not exclusively. Lovely to try some different dishes- we tried 2 different salmon dishes and both were very good- salmon fresh and full of flavour. Owners/ staff are customer focussed and service very good. We went here several times in the last fortnight, both for steaks and a carvery. Not only is the service amazing and very welcoming, but the food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The restuarant was quietly secluded, so a lovely setting for a special occasion! Great value too. Cannot wait to return here.

The team in Costa Luz work very hard to please their customers. The restaurant is on the first floor of a small mall of shops and bars outside the main drag of Puerto del Carmen and is consequently easily passed by.We dined there for the first time on our last visit having been guilty for many years of not looking up!!!Our reward, on that a one subsequent visit, was excellent food and service. The grill side was particularly noteworthy in its production of succulent steaks and home-made burgers. The overall experience was great and worth recommending.A minor negative, and a constant disappointment in most (not all) restaurants in Puerto Del Carmen, is the restriction to small bottle (500ml) of water served. These are comparatively ridiculously expensive and a turn-off in an otherwise well run establishment. Litre bottles are more efficient and produce less waste.Thank you so much for your visit and I hope see you soon

We ate 4 times at Lani's Gourmet Restaurant on our recent holiday to the suites. Food and service as excellent as ever and all under the watchful eye of Antonio. My first holiday abroad with my uncles and we ate here twice during our 2 week holiday. Both times the food was absolutely amazing, could not fault it. The chicken croquettes are delectable and very Moreish, Steaks were cooked to perfection, the lamb is soft and tender and the brownie is delicious. Gian(I hope I spelt that correctly) is an amazing host, so friendly and greets everyone as old friends. I cannot wait to go here again in the future. You will need to book in advance, as the restaurant is quite small and gets very busy- with good reason. Try it, you wonât regret it!!

I absolutely love this place, I have been before but this time I went with my friend who hadn't been before, she was also very impressed. Again the food did not disappoint. It as always was amazing, freshly prepared and delivered by Miet and Davy, who clearly love what they do and are very good at it. The only issue we had was deciding what to eat, there was so much to choose from, if we had enough time we would have gone back again.
