:This is a nice Fosters Freeze in the downtown Livermore area. Good to stop at when want an ice cream or shake on your way to other parts of California (i.e. We often drive through Livermore from San Jose area to the Sacramento or the Sierras.)

Been going to this place for years! Their all beef chili cheese dogs are out of this world good! just the way I like them: chili sauce with no beans. yum yum. Also love their mustard dogs and their corn dogs. plus they have great milkshakes. I took my mom out to lunch last week and asked her what she wanted: She said she hadn't had a hot dog in years, so I took her to Weinerschntizel in Livermore. She loved it!

We live in Livermore and drive by this place all the time. We finally decided to try it last Saturday for lunch. We didn't do any research and had zero expectations. We were blown away and will be eating here much more frequently in the future. The food was awesome. They sell huge sub/hoagie style sandwiches loaded with a large variety of ingredient choices. They sell fountain drinks, bottled specialty drinks, as well as beer and wine.Dining is casual, you order and pick up at the counter. The seating is open with indoor and outdoor options. Service was great and the employees seemed genuinely happy at work. Mr. Pickle has been our go-to sandwich place since we moved here, but we have a new favorite!
