My wife and I dined here to celebrate my birthday and found it outstanding in every respect. We were seated outside with a postcard view of the surf looking South with the Dana Headlands in the distance. To the North we had the Treasure Island Beach cove and the sunset. Service was perfect (thank you Saul). And, yes, the food was outstanding, too: perfectly prepared, beautifully plated, and out of this world flavors. Every bite was wonderful. Overall, just a delightful, exceptional white table cloth dining experience in a perfect setting. Thank you for celebrating with us at Studio! I am delighted to hear that your experience lived up to expectations and that we were able to provide the perfect backdrop for your birthday celebration. We do hope to welcome you back again soon!Sincerely, Anne-Marie HoustonGeneral ManagerMontage Laguna Beach

Fortunately we got one of the best tables with a beautiful view, it was all downhill after that. The service was terribly slow with the waitress repeatedly forgetting our order and then taking forever return. The margaritas were decent, albeit overpriced, but the food was downright awful. The chips and "salsa" tasted like the salsa was just tomato paste, super sweet and no flavor other than sweet tomatoes. On recommendation of the waitress (I should have known better...) I got the shrimp tacos. I received the pork tacos first on accident, i should have kept those, as they seemed somewhat edible. But then the shrimp tacos arrived, and they were one of the worst things I have ever had. They were just tiny shrimps covered in the aforementioned "salsa" which was super sweet, and then some added chili flakes making them also super hot. I could barely eat a few bites. The high prices would be tolerable if the food was good, as you could argue you are paying for the location, but the prices are completely out of line with what is received. Go pretty much ANYWHERE else in Laguna for a better experience, and just enjoy the same view from the public look-out right next to the restaurant.

We've been visiting Three Seventy Common since it opened and have never been disappointed. On our most recent visit, I have a pork shank that was nicely prepared and served with potatoes and some cabbage. I very much enjoyed it. I was sorry to see that the butterscotch pudding that had been on the dessert menu in the past was no longer there. The restaurant has a good and reasonably priced wine list.
