Not recommended restaurant experience
Reviewed By dpiacunJust to clarify, this review is not about the hotel stay, but about the restaurant experience, which I do not recommend at all. What was supposed to be the culinary highlight of our trip in Istra ended in a complete and very expensive disappointment. Even if I wanted to comment on every single dish we had I couldn't, because now, 4 days later, I don't even remember anything other than how bland the taste was. Not a single dish left an impression, the food was very flavorless and uninspired, the quantities were not well thought out and not even the waiters engaged with us (my partner doesn't speak Croatian and everything was explained to us in a very basic vocabulary). In the end they didn't even ask us if everything was ok, which is also one of the reasons I am leaving this review. To conclude, the food was not bad and we did not go home hungry, but it was very, very far from the advertised Michelin experience. Also, this is not a Michelin star restaurant, but a Michelin guide restaurant, which although also inexplicable to us, is a different thing.

Reviewed By Yulia EНастоящий гостевой дом . На территории 2 дома, даже и не понятно где живут хозяева,а где гости . Очень дружелюбная хозяйка Мария , а так же ее муж . Готовы с вами пообщаться , угостить то , чем сами питаются и налить наливки собственного производства . Номера небольшие ,но чистые и есть все необходимое. Чисто ,вода горячая ,в каждом номере свой санузел ,кондиционер . На окнах ставни . Вечером можно посидеть во дворе в беседке ,где хозяева вам предложат прохладительные напитки ,чай ,кофе , а если захотите то и покрепче . Завтрак хороший , хлеб пекут сами . Кофе варят (зерновой ). Подают инжир, который растёт тут же .

Reviewed By Karla DOwners are really nice and open. We had a really great time. There is a great place insade of the house which is comfortable for spending time with family. Also the location of the house is awesome. It is only 2km from sea, between Umag and Novigrad.
