Horrible
Reviewed By 255100GrahamVery primitive, hot, no air-conditioning. The web site advertising was very misleading- trying to pretend it was part of the nearby resort. We booked it for a few nights, but left after 2 or 3 hours when we realised we couldn't bear staying there under any circumstances. We didn't bother to try to get our money back. Avoid like the plague. A lesson on internet bookings. We moved to the hotel Sveti Kriz in Trogir - wonderful and such a relief.

Just next to the Riva Promenade and a 5-minute walk from the nearest pebbly beach, Stella Apartments offers air-conditioned accommodation with free Wi-Fi. The historic town of Split with UNESCO-protected Diocletian's Palace is 7 km away. Free public parking is provided. All studios and apartments feature an LCD satellite TV, a fully equipped kitchen with dining area and a bathroom with shower. Some include a balcony with sea views and a washing machine. Grocery shop, bar and a bakery are 50 metres from the Apartments Stella. Various restaurants serving local and international dishes can be found within a 200-metre radius. Town of Solin preserving the ancient ruins of an amphitheatre is 6 km away, while the UNESCO-protected Old Town of Trogir is located 15 km away. Local bus with lines to Split and Trogir stops 200 metres from the property. Split Bus Station and Ferry Port are located 11 km away. Split Airport is at a distance of 11 km.
The perfect place to stay in Split
Reviewed By kirib30You'd be hard pushed to find an apartment of such high quality literally steps from the Adriatic Sea for this price. We stayed in the 2 bed apartment on the first floor, the one where the windows literally open out onto the ocean. It's a great location if you want to visit Split but get away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist crush in the city and enjoy some relaxation. Plenty of car parking. Train station is 5 mins up the road and a 15min train ride from Kastel Sucurac to the city drops you right at the heart of the port (easy access to ferries) and the old town. Tickets are 20kuna return per person. Not sure if the train stops near the airport but if it does, this accommodation is smack bang in between Split and the airport. Grocery shop literally around the corner and Lidl is 2mins away by car. Gorgeous village atmosphere and a promenade to stroll on an evening. A 10-15min stroll will bring you to Nautilus (has great reviews) and a small beach. Our apartment was spotlessly clean, well-equipped and to be honest, we could have just moved in and lived there forever! The landlord was good value too - a friendly, happy to help young chap with a great sense of humour. If you have a car you must also visit nearby Trogir and Primosten. Gorgeous places. Primosten is one of the most stunning places we saw in all of Croatia (and there are a LOT in Croatia!). Wi fi excellent, heating and air con, washing machine. Fantastic accommodation.

Reviewed By PausadiasLocated in a 19th century house built by a Czech doctor,it was a convenient base to visit Split area.Small Supermarkets are minutes away in the village and if you need something bigger,you will find it on the main road,500m north.Beach just across the street if you want to relax after a day of visit.There is free parking space nearby and the owner is is very helpful.The room comes with a fully equipped kitchen ,everything is ultra clean. Great choice.

Reviewed By 186ginodThis is the best place in Kastela! First class rooms, spacious with top class kitchen, bathroom plus courtyard!! Suit families couples or singles and loads of parking. Far more room than a hotel at great prices too. Near the beaches restaurants cafes and a few minutes to the airport. Much closer than Split central. Very friendly and helpful owner Ante will do everything to accommodate any needs. We will be back
