Reviewed By A2364FJsaramNormally I write a review at the end of our holiday but I honestly can't rate this hotel and its staff high enough. We arrived 2 and bit hours later than anticipated due to flight delays , the reception staff could not have been more friendly, welcoming and helpful. We were lucky and got upgraded to a superior double room with sea view and was left a snack to eat along with a room that had all high quality amenities including a stocked fridge with a range of drinks , a variety of different teas and coffees with a kettle, super king size bed, bathroom fully equipped with quality towels , flannels shampoo,soap, conditioner even a hairdryer. The hotel literally has everything you can think of including the most friendly, helpful staff from those at reception, tui staff , shop staff bar and restaurant staff . And the chef well , you'd think you was in a top restaurant , even though the food is a buffet style it is the best food I've ever had with a huge variety of anything you could imagine and the taste and quality is out of this world you won't want to stop eating. I can't recommend this hotel enough not just because it has everything but the staff are literally top class and will stop and have a friendly chat with you every time you see them . So welcoming. 1000% recommend this hotel and will definitely definitely go back again

A Spotlessly Clean and Comfortable Hotel with Friendly and Helpful Staff
Reviewed By SteveWakefieldUKWe were so looking forward to our first beach holiday since 2019, and we were delighted to find that the hotel staff (and the local community) were just as keen to see the tourists return. The rooms are well equipped and comfortable, and the food was prepared with obvious pride. Our room (511) had been described as having a "partial sea view" but the only minor restriction in the view was hardly noticeable. We had excellent views out over the sea and to the islands of Brac and Hvar. The hotel is located midway between the villages of Brela and Basco Voda, both orf which can be accessed by a footpath running beside the beach. Both villages have a range of decent bars and eateries, and we were pleased that we opted just for a B&B arrangement at the hotel. This is a lovely hotel.

Reviewed By Go65510So my husband and I stayed here from 20th-30th May . We arrived very late in the evening and were allocated room 316…. First impressions was that there was no view - we were staying at the brick wall of the building opposite and I was gutted . I immediately went down to reception to see if there were any rooms with better views that we could upgrade to ( we were happy to pay extra) …. We were told they were fully booked but maybe one would be available in the next couple of days . Clearly , there was nothing that could be resolved so we went back to the room to unpack . Next , we realised there were no hangars in the only double wardrobe that was there , so off we went back down to reception to request some hangers ( annoying !) Finally , when we really checked out the room , we realised there were no drawers , a wet room and grab rails in the bathroom and that our room was suitable for a wheelchair user with wider doors , no storage and a sink that was low enough to wheel a chair under ! I wasn’t happy at all with this so went back down to reception for a third time to say I really wasn’t happy - there was no storage and I did not want a wheelchair accessible room with grab rails and a low mirror in the bathroom . The man on reception told me that all of the rooms were like this which I disputed . I told him I wanted a shower cubicle and I didn’t want a wet room with a shower seat ! He told me there was nothing available tonight and to come in the morning and see the Manager . He told me that they would change our room in the morning . When we woke up the next morning , we could see outside clearly and if we craned our neck over the balcony we could see Rat Beach but looking straight on was the brick wall ( crap view !) …. To be fair , you couldn’t complain about the view as we paid for limited sea view and it WAS limited sea view . We visited reception after breakfast as advised and was told to come back after 2pm when guests had checked out and we could have a different room . We did this and was given room 432 …. My goodness - what a difference !!!! The view was nothing short of magnificent ! We had full sea views , TWO double wardrobes WITH DRAWERS and the bathroom had a massive shower cubicle and STORAGE !!! We literally were soooo happy . All of this was carried out courteously and efficiently by reception …. But be warned and vigilant - in D block just note th second door to the left on every floor - it’s a wheelchair accessible room and is NOT the same as the normal rooms ( you’ll spot it because the doorway is that much wider !) . Also - we only got given one room key for the first room and two keys for the second which makes me think it’s only for one person and not a couple ?♀️ Despite this shaky start , the hotel was great . The staff were polite and friendly , the cleaners were brilliant and the food was good …. We did get bored of it , but that was us - there was enough variety and it tasted good too . My complaints about the food / dining is :- There were no teabags …. Only Indian Tea , which wasn’t like our English tea …. I had to buy a box from the supermarket …. I have never been away and had to do this before The coffee wasn’t great quality ( according to husband ) but there WAS coffee . They didn’t provide water with evening meal so you had to buy a drink every time . In the rooms ( that were spotless ) it would have been good to have an information guide on the loca area such as the catamaran times / prices and the facilities in the local area etc . I’ve never stayed anywhere where they haven’t provided this information before . These are only minor niggles and overall this hotel is lovely and I would stay again - fab location and having hired a car and driven over most of the island , I don’t think you could actually stay in a better place . Bol is beautiful and I really don’t think you could be disappointed in the location OR the hotel .

Our room was very clean and homely with a view over the orchard beneath our balcony. All the staff within the complex were always friendly and helpful. Encouraging activities such as Stretching and Yoga. Twice we were entertained by a fantastic Vocal Duo. The meals were excellent with a number of choices in the buffet dinning; Teddy Yahir and Oliver were always so helpful in the grill area. SAGA had a beautiful lounge where we could relax and sometimes listen to music. Ivana and Andrea where always bright and cheerful and there to help us with anything we might need .. Thanks to you both. This hotel was the most relaxing place to spend a holiday

Reviewed By Lawrence AOur first visit to Croatia did not disappoint with a 4 night stay here. The rooms are adequate, with free safe, and beach towels are free when you get your deposit back. Its location is next to a pebble beach and crystal clear waters, with the restaurant overlooking. Service is great, rooms serviced every day, and the staff friendly. The food is ok but basic, and line ups at the egg counter, and hot meat section. Strange combinations as well. And, never saw gravy or sauce with roast dinners, so was dry as a bone. Whilst we enjoyed our stay, I was furious when we checked out that I got charged 20Kuna ,(. £2.60) for a tiny bottle of water from the minibar. Avoid the minibar is the lesson for today.

Reviewed By niccoo70Certainly the time of year helped in early season but the hotel was clean, the weather was fantastic (apart from one very windy day) and the facilities of the hotel including its own beach were so relaxing and quiet. The restaurant had amazing choice (for so few guest) and the Culinarium is a perfect spot to while away the hours. Staff were all brilliant and friendly, taking time to learn our names and preferences etc. pools are great. Yes there are lifts but you will still need to negotiate stairs to get anywhere. Igrane itself was quiet and just getting ready for the season so some things were still closed but overall as a first holiday in over 2 years it was a perfect relaxing tonic. I imaging in full season things would get busier but the atmosphere of the hotel seems well established and we loved our week there.

Reviewed By lucygclarkeWe stayed 4 nights at the Gava Waterman Resort as 2 female adults. The Resort is beautiful with lots of amenities. The scenery cannot be faulted. The reception staff were very friendly, welcoming and willing to help with the additional arrangements we made. The resort is a 30 minute walk to Milna which is also beautiful and has plenty of places to eat and drink. The resort has three great pools and free access to water-sports during the day. The bar staff Matej and Alexander were absolutely brilliant, they created a great atmosphere whilst also providing a superb service. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Reviewed By Poppy_E_AThe hotel is very nice in a fabulous location on the beach. You need beach shoes as it is a stoney beach. It was very clean and the staff were polite and friendly. The food was good and despite my gluten intolerance I found plenty of choice. The only complaint I have is the quality of the drinks on the all inclusive. The spirits are shockingly harsh. Take some anti acid pills with you and your stomach lining might survive but unfortunately that won't save your liver or kidneys. The mixers are terrible too, they need to improve the quality. Despite this we had a fabulous holiday.

Reviewed By kaiMickSituated at one end of the flat path that Tucepi has to offer.Everything is just a leisurely stroll from the hotel and all restaurants look on to the beautiful Adriatic sea and coastline. Hotel is spotless,free sunbeds and towels for guests,wifi was faultless and a fridge in the room.Breakfast was varied and plentiful,lovely start to your day. We had dinner twice at hotel Gordon Ramsey would be proud,fantastic food.Kudos to the chef and all the staff. Special mention to the lovely Bilana and Blansa.Hvala. Will come back dates permitting.
