Since it changed ownership it has gone way down hill. The chili tastes like canned tomatoes, the macaroons have some kind of weird flavoring, the smoothies are filled with a weird rancid oily substance and they've changed their salad and it's got awful cheese on it.

The no sugar caramels are so melt in your mouth delicious and the candy corn sweets are so good. Also, try the Hedgehogs, you won't be disappointed. Owner is very friendly and has an awesome selection if you are craving any sweets. Best candy shop in Port Alberni. Thank you

you know you're in the right place when they serve all day breakfasts and the local customers are all working people. split pea soup was perfect for a cool day, and battered cod with fries was great.

Third visit!!We have been there three times. Each time the service was superb and the food even better, Best coffee on the Island. Beautifully clean and relaxing decor. The owner/manager is a great gal! The food is the kind you would serve your near and dear ones!! A type of cafe that makes you feel VERY at home but with better service!!!! Pray you are lucky enough to be there when they make the Thai salad. Food for the Gods!! Will go there every time we hit Port Alberni!!

Fisherman's Bread and other meals for four of the five of us. They loved their choices. I loved my choice. A Spinach Salad, with bacon. Multiple food allergies sometimes limits what a person can purchase when out so I appreciate great food that fits into my dietary limits. The staff was super friendly and made sure all five of us were taken care of well. Yum.

Can be a bit noisy... kids in the play area. Small cozy diner, soup needed reheating, sandwiches quite tasty and filled with fresh ingredients.
