The pizza was the worse restaurant pizza I have ever tried. There was simply very very little topping. It was the Wednesday special, WEDNESDAY CANADIAN. There are 3 topping besides cheese. We ordered extra sauce. Every topping, cheese, sauce and all, was very scarce. Web order and it was ready on time for pick-up. NEVER BEFORE & NEVER AGAIN!

Very good service didn't have that rushed feeling I sometimes get when at subway. And they reminded me about the cookies which I actually had decided on Subway because of them to start with.

Were were travelling thru Port Alberni en route to Tofino and we're in need of some quick nourishment. Not a fan of fast food chains and by a lucky left turn found this gem. I had a donair and my girlfriend had a falafel, you get to choose from a variety of fresh toppings. They we're both great. The subs looked tasty too. When we were leaving the owner rushed over with a few strips of the seasoned beef for my girlfriend to try as she had never had it. Will definitely stop in next time on our way thru town

The last couple times I have ordered their pizza's I have not been disappointed. I find their crust is perfect and not very greasy. The portion sizes here are big. Ordered a three piece chicken dinner and it sure was fries galore. Chicken was yummy, only wish is is that chicken was more crispy.

Stayed in Port alberni recently. It was late at night and I was hungry. After getting frustrated with one of the chain pizza restaurants online ordering, i started going through the phonebook calling all the pizza places. This place was the first that answered so i placed an order. Long story short..Great pizza great price...lots of toppings. Very good 5/5

J&L is on my hit list in travelling through to the West Coast of the Island. Straight foreward burger fries and shake. I have a background in hospitality. There is a tall brunette girl who was dealing with a abusive customer. I was at the point of getting involved, but was in awe of her absolute professionalism in dealing with this difficult situation. It is a rarity to have such dignified, respectful, responses throughout this ordeal with what I assume are minimum wage employees. I have always had very good service at J&L over the years. Kudos to this staff member who was so level headed and made our brief drive in visit a positive. Management should be proud.
