Very bad experience
Reviewed By GulfiyaCleaning service is provided in a very bad condition. I expected cleaning on Sunday. I left the room for full fay, but when I arrived I can’t open my door. There was a problem with my lock. What is not my issue. It’s hotel fault. When a personal fixed the lock, I realized what no one clean my room. At reception I received the information what I locked the door inside and for this reason cleaning was not provided. Are you kidding? I was outside full day!

Swimming pool among the pines
Reviewed By jwilsonparisMy wife and I loved our three night stay with our gracious hosts, Nicholas and Claire, who truly go out of their way to make you feel "at home". Breakfast is served in an outdoor kitchen at poolside and we had the "family suite" room which has a private terrace overlooking the pool.

Reviewed By Julo83430Le mas rénové et décoré avec goût est magnifique, le jardin l est tout autant avec piscine et spa. Nous avons très bien dormi, literie exceptionnelle et surtout le calme de la campagne. Les lieux sont d une propreté exceptionnelle. Et la gentillesse des hôtes finie de vous mettre sous le charme de l endroit. Le petit déjeuner compris dans le prix est hyper copieux, frais et fait maison même le jus d orange! Pour 30 euros de plus vous aurez à un dîner copieux et excellent. Bref : un pur moment de sérénité !

Reviewed By Annette B... if you don't want to be in the middle of Saintes Maries but want easy/quick access. Toilet and shower were outside of the room but very close by and very clean. Really good blasting shower. No air-conditioning this didn't seem to matter. Friendly and helpful service. Good breakfast at a reasonable price. Very comfy loungers to crash out on! Definitely recommendable.

Reviewed By Opinion8tedThe Manade des Baumelles, a traditional bull breeding farm, also has a charming dining room (and outside seating) in addition to rooms to rent for Camargue trekkers. We explored the property and met some bulls and horses as part of a Viking river cruise on the Rhone, but the real joy of the place was this little restaurant, which served us all manner of foods made from bull meat -- pates, salume, carpaccio, and a lovely stew over Camargue rice. We also had an anchovy mayonnaise with fresh vegetables that was heady but delicious, and concluded with the local version of tiramisu, more like a slice of cake. The feast was washed down with local Rose (Listral) and followed by a short lecture on the bull runs. Could not have been more charming.

Great Family holiday village
Reviewed By FerretUnitedKingdomNice quiet location. Apartments were spotlessly clean, bathrooms nice and new. Given it was over 40 degrees most days the mobile aircon units were much used. Beds were comfortable, kitchens supplied with utensils, but take your own cleaning products, salt pepper, etc there is no shop or takeaway restaurant on site, but a large shopping centre 5 minutes drive away. Despite large expanses of water we were not bothered by mosquitos. Kids enjoyed the activities on site, stand-up paddle board, the swimming pools, horse riding. No wifi in apartments that week, it was being upgraded. Very accessible for the Camargue. The bar was hopeless, we went twice, first time the young barman was clueless as to how to change the barrel - 20 minute wait for a beer. Second time the queue for drinks was 30 minutes, inexperienced staff, we gave up. Overall though nice relaxing week.

Reviewed By Virpi CBeautiful and peaceful location. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly staff/owners. Quite small but well cleaned rooms with good view. Many horse places near if you want to ride. Lunch and dinner have to be eaten elsewhere but there are plenty of restaurants in the centre of Saintes Maries de la Mer.
