Plusieurs visite et Toujours leMême constat. Le cadre est très sympa (la terrasse super en été), l'endroit est pratique quand on est De Lormont ou à proximité (parking facile) Mais Dans l'assiette c'est très moyen pour le prix. LesPortions sont petites, c'est assez répétitif (j'ai l'impression de Toujours tomber sur la semaine de la sauce béarnaise...) et relativement cher comparé à ce qui se fait ailleurs. Conclusion...Bien si vous êtes du coin Mais ne vaut pas un détour.

This restaurant definitely earns its two Michelin stars. You can either order from a set menu, or a la carte. Either way, you will be served with many extra little dishes, especially at the end of the meal. Plus, on the evening we were there, the waiter invited us to go back to the kitchen and meet the head chef and pastry chef. The dishes we ate were all good. An opulent atmosphere and decor, as you would expect. Comfortable surroundings and the waiting staff were very pleasant, helpful and cheerful, despite being very busy.My wife's "Rossini" beef was of top quality and cooked to perfection. My starter of eggs poached in Bordelaise wine was also brilliant. My main of veal ballotine and dessert of poached pear could not be criticised on quality. The only issue was the portions were a little large for me.Suddenly, the lights dimmed;the music played and the stars came out! Visit yourself and see what I mean!

Just looking for some easy takeaway food, tried this place, very friendly service, we were given a free rum cocktail while waiting for our order ! Food was tasty too. Would highly recommend, if you find yourself in a similar position, or even if your not, the restaurant was full and looked pretty good. May go back.

Undoubtedly La Ligne Rouge is nicely located near la Porte Cailhau along the river; it is small but authentic!!you'll appreciate Gwen's hearty smile; he is educational and will make you share his passion.He knows how to welcome his guests and make you travel in different wine countries by surprising you with excellent Bordeaux wines and foreign wines!It is always a nice experience to guess which wine you are tasting when the label is hidden. And the plates of finger food are a treat for those who like good cheese and good ham... You won't be disappointed!
